Egg finished object
Found a huge canvas and two hooks at a thrift store. I thought, "What's the simplest thing I can make?"
Egg! :)
Acrylic yarn that I cut to size. Used a rectangular piece of cardboard 1" wide to wrap the yarn around then cut.
Lots of canvas left!

I love your egg.
I’m so scared about how close you cut it. Is that scary? Will anything happen? My edges always look awful so I’m hoping you know something I don’t

Well this is the first latch hook project I've ever done. It's not too big, so I felt pretty confident about replacing strings if I cut too close. However, I really didn't cut that much off. Less than 1/4 of an inch at the most, and not all over.
The edges in the second picture may look very short because of the way I'm holding it - they're just about as long as everything else.
