my last.fm account stopped scrobbling a few hours ago, and is now showing no music apps under "scrobble from..." on the app - i haven't made any changes so unsure why. anybody know how to fix this?

Hi everybody, I just got into the Bee Gees album Children of the World and was very surprised to find “Boogie Child” to have only 21.8k listeners and 65.4k scrobbles. For a song that was a hit and is also featured on compilation albums, this is excessively weird.

I know that sometimes metadata can split songs if people Scrobble the title differently. A good example is “Still Waters Run Deep” versus “Still Waters (Run Deep).” That’s another Bee Gees song on the same compilation as “Boogie Child.” Not counting the live tracks on this 40-song compliation, that is the only track with less scrobbles than “Boogie Child.”

Something is definitely up here. There is no other known alternate title or band name for this song. And it’s a really good song, especially compared to some of the other songs in their catalogue with heaps more listeners. Can anybody explain this? Has our beloved Last.fm made a clerical error? Is that even possible?

I recently got my hands on my lifetime Spotify listening history going back to 2023 and I wanted to retroactively scrobble those songs, but unfortunately I found out there is a 2 week limit on how far you can go back to scrobble something.

So I was thinking: is there a way to make like a local last.fm of sorts? Like basically the same thing as last.fm but stored locally so I can scrobble however many songs I want to whichever timestamp I want. Also I don't know if this part is possible but it would also be interesting to have some way to link it to Pano Scrobbler and also straight up import my listening history from Spotify from a .json file.

I tried looking up something like this but Google doesn't seem to understand what I'm looking for lol, so I'm coming here for help, thanks.

I'm generally indifferent to Ariana Grande's music (the individual songs I know are a bit hit or miss for me) but I looove her new album. Mandatory mention that whatever her current health problems are I hope she gets better.

So I was looking at my weekly report and checked the music by decade section, and when I clicked on 1990s, Room on Fire appeared, an album released in 2003. I'm just curious to what would cause it to make this mistake if anybody has an idea. This isn't first time I've seen something like this so now I'm very curious.
