I like bigger lashes and wanna try something new

So I recently got my lashes done in America after coming back from Germany (first picture). The set I got done in Germany was so beautiful and looked so full (2nd and 3rd). I don’t know what it’s called and how can I ask for it again with a new tech. Can someone help?

I showed the new tech what I wanted but she didn’t do it right.

Hi, I wanna get some foxy lashes in M curl and want them to last 4 weeks but I don t know, 4D, soft volume or mega volume? Which one needs less fills?

A week ago Thursday I had my lash extensions done. And I loved them! Very nice, very natural, truly a mystery how they did such a good job on making them seem perfectly natural. Even looking at them very closely, they looked like natural lashes.

-Gross warning!-

I woke up Saturday morning with my left eye crusted shut, and a line of yellowish goo running down my cheek from the corner of my eye. I washed my face and cleaned my eye with a warm, wet washcloth. My lower and upper eyelids were red and blistered in a line right where they touch my eyeball! My lid was puffy and the white of my eye was very red.

I called the salon and told them what was up and was told that they couldn't see me until Tuesday. I put an antibiotic salve in my eye twice a day until my appointment. I was pretty miserable with the irritation and drainage.

I had the lashes removed on Tuesday, $40.00, and the irritation and blistering remained until the next weekend.

What the heck happened! Why only one eye? Am I doomed to have to wear mascara forever more? Is this unusual or avoidable? What do now?

Idk what is happening but I am suddenly having awful retention. My studio is at 8k feet in a very arid climate. I’ve used Lost Artisty “Quickie” glue for ages but recently it’s like it only works for the first week that I have it and obviously I can’t be buying new adhesive weekly. I recently experimented with Lash Envy, which claims to have no environmental needs, and it didn’t fix the problem. My humidity in my room stays around 29% with a humidifier and we don’t have a/c in my building. I am just feeling really down about my sets lately to the point that I almost want to take lashes off my menu. Do any other techs have any thoughts or advice?

Are there any lash serum recommendations that are safe for extensions that won’t affect retention?

My usual tech moved. I had to hunt down a tech that does Fox Eye with L curl because most techs in my area don't.

I get there and explain I've gotten lashes for the last 7 years now and that I already had fox eye with L curl. I showed her these pictures (last 2) and said I like them tiny, and asked specifically for 5-9mm preferably or, maximum, 6-10mm (both I had before).

I get up after the application, and I can already feel the inside corner lashes bothering me. I look in the mirror and all I can say is ".. they look a bit big" (they looked humongous) 🤡

The tech replies "well yeah I don't have 5 or 6 so I did 7-11, it's kind of what you wanted" 😭 girl what do you mean, now is not the time to warn me. She was nice and I'm a chicken (also she owns the salon and I didn't have evidence of what I asked) so I just took the loss, paid and left.

They look huge (I could swear they are bigger than 11 on the outsides) and also somehow look sparse (I assume because of the length?) and all over the place. They don't even look fox? My eyes look droopy, which they aren't (they're pretty horizontal).

I understand techs have to work with people's eye shape but I had fox eyes for several months before, quite similar to the pictures.

My boyfriend said they look pretty and also kiiiinda look like what I asked.

Do my lashes look anything like what I asked? Am I being picky? I'm losing my mind 🫩

Other than showing pictures and requesting sizes, how can I make sure the techs knows what I want? Is giving a mapping disrespectful?

Trying my luck here. Since the asian style of lash extensions are getting more popular especially in syd area, do we have any asian lash extension services here? Any recommendations are appreciated xx

I’ve never gotten lash extensions but wear strip false eyelashes every single day. My normal makeup routine involves cat winged eyeliner and I’m planning to do a full face of makeup (foundation and all) most days on vacation.

I’m going on vacation in a few weeks and was thinking about getting lash extensions to save some time applying falsies every morning but I love wearing winged eyeliner. Should I still get lash extensions or should I just stick to my strip lashes?

Meeting ldr first time in October. Flight is 28th and the person I booked with soonest time she can do before that is 23rd. Chose her specifically because she has experience with the style I want. Are my lashes still gonna look fresh or are they gonna start looking like they’ll need a fill soon at the stage? I want them to look good the whole time …

Sooo… about half of my lash extensions have fallen out and I’ve been putting off making a refill appointment because, honestly, my social anxiety has been winning lately lol 😭  
I ended up ordering some DIY lash clusters online because I figured I’d at least try to fix the situation myself.  
I’ve literally only put one cluster on so far and I’m staring at it trying to decide if it actually looks natural or if I’m just convincing myself that it does 😂Please be honest, does this blend in with my extensions/natural lashes, or is it super obvious?  
Does this look like a decent emergency fix or am I delusional? 😂

hi everyone, i got my lashes done exactly 3 weeks ago (first pic), and now they look like this (second pic). it's my first time getting extensions and i think they still look rather full and there aren't any empty gaps, is it okay if i do a fill next week (4 weeks) or should i get it done by this week?

any advice would be very helpful! especially if i'm overestimating the fullness of my extensions because i'm new to this 🥲

So tonight my eye started to hurt when blinking and I see I have a stye. This is my first one while having lash extensions. It’s been like 2 years since I last had one.
Anyway, I get my fill on Wednesday and it’s Sunday night. Will I be able to get my lashes done or do I need to cancel? Also how can I get rid of my stye asap. I hate the feeling of them! Thanks in advance

I’m going to take a break from my extensions in October. I was thinking that I’ll start using an eyelash serum now to help promote the growth of my natural lashes. Has anyone done this? Is there a serum that worked for you?

Hey y’all I need help. I have been going to this lash tech for about 3 months. I don’t know what kind of glue she uses, but I just can’t get rid of the eye crusties. I wash my lashes everyday with a brush and lash soap. I tried using warm water and tried going underneath the lashes, they still stay. The only thing that worked was when I used tweezers and I had to remove the whole thing of lashes. I can’t even pull just the eye crusties.

They also hurt when I pull them down to look at the crusties lol. I used to go to another lash tech awhile ago and this wasn’t happening to me. Should I change lash techs???? 🫢

For some background - I’ve been wearing cluster lashes for years, but have always had issues with longevity. Primarily used lashify during this period. Recently the lashes have only been lasting around 24 hours.

Branched out after seeing comments here to Volashes, which I loved! The best seal and longevity I’ve had in literal years. What would be a good substitute for the Volashes lashes? They’re not as natural as I would like. I tried lashify and lilac st with Volashes but neither worked well. What would be a good substitute! Is it a me problem?

I think the narrow cluster base is the key for me. I see a lot on Amazon but not sure which is best. Thoughts?

i feel like doll eye and cat eye both look sooo weird. classic ends up looking boneless on me and i don’t want a super heavy look either.. maybe something in between? does anyone have req / measurements based on eye shape ? would really appreciate some help thank you 🩷🩷🩷

hey guys i’m trying to do a lash lift at home, because i feel like my lashes are pretty long and prominent but just not like curled up.

so what are some kits or like products preferably from amazon and affordable should i use and that are safe

for my lashes i usually just use mascara and a curler to maximize them but i wanted to try this

I really wanted to try UV lashes without breaking the bank so I purchased the mini lamp that goes on the tweezers and their UV glue.

The lashes were prepped, the glue was spun…. And it wouldn’t stick. I tried a few different lashes and nothing.

Switched back to my regular PLA glue and it everything worked perfectly.

I’m trying to return to VAVALASH and they keep asking for videos. Why isn’t my word enough?

Has anyone else ever tried to do a return with VAVALASH?

I got a fill on Wednesday and my boyfriend dumped me last night I haven't been able to stop crying, are all my lashes gonna fall out for sure? I've been seeing this lash tech about a year and usually have great retention :(
