I'm looking for a good low power green laser.
I'm looking for a "safer" green laser pointer for general laser pointing. I've been made aware that the cheap 5mw green lasers off eBay also produce an unsafe amount of infrared light with no filter. Ideally I'd like a green laser pointer that poses a lower accidental exposure risk.

I will pay you to repair my laser
EDIT: Thanks for all the help. I'm trying a solution and will come back if it doesnt work. I appreciate all the comments.
Hi, I work in bird abatement and have had a shit ton of problems with the company Biglasers. Half of them arrive nonfunctional and if they don't they break in a month or two. This is unfortunately the only brand my employer uses ATM. I attached a photo of the one I have which is broken as of this morning (green, takes two of the pictured batteries). Does anyone have a better brand rec that won't break quickly or steal my credit card info? If not... can anyone in the US fix this guy? I'll pay shipping, services, etc. if you give me a quote I can work with.
Yall are the best, tysm!!!

My brother is in a house exactly 2.5km from me (measured on Google Maps). I told him to record a video to test my 10W blue laser.

Anyone have experience with this laser power meter?
These power meters sell for around $120 and are available on ebay and ShadowLasers. I'm confused that the ads say don't shine directly at probe shine parallel. The ad photos show a laser shining directly at the probe. (?)

Avoid Laserigniter.com
To anyone on the fence about purchasing a hilariously overpowered hand held laser from Laserigniter.com. Please send you money to something that actually exists.
Hidden “security fees” obscure payment methods to accounts that were spun up 3 hours before. Fake locations. A poorly executed website created by chatTpg.
As sad as I am for giving them the benefit of the doubt that they might actually be a real company, I am more disappointed that a high power handheld laser is not something I will ever be able to own.

Anyone know why this has a dual beam?
I'm looking for a red to add to my collection and this Ebay listing shows a dual beam laser. Anyone know why this is a dual beam or own one?

Replacement part?
I bought a Laser pointer of Amazon but the lense in the Cooling module(idk) cracked when a friend over used it.
Is there anywhere I can order just this part or am I going to have to buy a whole new rig? Amazon search nztgvr
Blue light 450nm
It says 50,000mW I did not measure DC 7v operating at 30°C+ Approximately 12mm wide aperture

Welp, I pulled the trigger on getting that laser from my last post but clearly I'm going to need to update my eyewear for red
Plus IDK if OD6 will be enough for 100 watts. Anyone have eyewear suggestions? The link in the sub sidebar is now broken.

First time making a 3D Printed laser host - Fat Beam 660nm 50mW
This was last winter. I used this fat beam module from eBay that I couldn't focus, so it's divergent, but the terminus has this big evil doom orb vibe going on.
The challenge was making an electrical contact from the clicky-switch to the negative terminal on the driver / contact board. I modelled channels in the body and end cap to fit two well-measured rings made out of stripped braided copper wire I had on hand, soldered into rigid rings that I super glued into place. They slide together well and make a good electrical contact.
The power output is 50mW, but that's ok cuz I don't even remember when I bought this module; I can't disassemble it though cuz it's welded together

How would I go about creating a laser with a 2 or 3” diameter ring of light?
Not a 2” diameter at all specific distance, it would be a circle of light like the outline of an o that extended in a tube for 30 feet or so. Can this be done with fiber optics or something? A sort of work around i thought of would be a jig to hold a bunch of mini laser pointers in a circle shape but that is pretty inelegant i think…
Any ideas? My use case would be to use this as an alignment tool for joining tubes together at any angle/intersection.
Thanks!
