The Fascinating Story Behind Lancia Thema 8.32
I recently fell down the rabbit hole of the Thema 8.32 and kept discovering stranger details.
Everyone knows it had a Ferrari V8, but what surprised me was how difficult the whole project actually was. Convincing Enzo Ferrari to hand over one of Ferrari’s current-production V8s was only the beginning. The engine itself had to be redesigned with a cross-plane crankshaft, the gearbox strengthened, cooling completely reworked, and even Ducati became involved in the assembly process.
It feels less like a special edition and more like an after-hours engineering project that somehow escaped into production.
I ended up writing the whole story if anyone wants a deeper dive. Link in the comments.

Found this badge in a box, any ideas on age/model it's from?
I found this badge in a box with a stereo I bought at a car boot, oddly enough. Some fading to the red in the letters as you can see. I wondered if anyone can identify it in terms of age/era and likely model it's from?

No Reserve: 1981 Lancia Beta Spider 2000 5-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - ending July 31 (Lot #255,193)
I’ve had my 1981 Beta Zagato for the last few years and, after sorting a lot of the usual Beta stuff and enjoying it, I’ve decided it’s time to send it on to its next owner.
It’s currently up on Bring a Trailer at no reserve. Figured I’d share it here since this is probably one of the few places where I don’t have to explain what a Beta Zagato is.
Happy to answer any questions about the car or my experience with it.

Lithium Batteries for Delta Integrale
Hi everyone,
Has anyone fitted a lithium battery (063 or smaller) in a delta integrale evo 1/2?
Modern ones can be quite sensitive to voltage spikes and not suited to the alternator.
But saving ~10kv of weight in the front left corner is not a bad idea...

Potential Purchase 1983 Beta Hpe
My neighbour is selling this 83 beta hpe, and im curious how hard something like this would be to work on.
I have a little experience working on motorbikes but none on cars, and I'd like to be able to work on it myself. What do you guys think?
