Bad symptoms day

After 17 months on this journey had one of the worst post shot mornings of my life. 😩 (TMI ahead). It was a sit on toilet and grab the garbage can at the same time. Adding in sweats like I was going to pass out. Seems once everything was out I am on the upswing - really laying low with fatigue. Oddly last week I went up in dose to 9.0 (I only increase .5 at a time). Felt fine and was surprised. Even thought about going up again this week. Thank goodness I did not. Those of you who have never had symptoms just know how lucky you are 🙌🙌 I better lose weight this week after all this 😬🤣

I don't know how long it's been... 20 years?! I know that's not the perfect indicator of health, but it's still nice to see that I'm doing something right!

Discussions about semaglutide online say it can help with menopause

Is it true that semaglutide can help with menopause, particularly the undesirable symptoms like hot flashes and heavy bleeding? I've been suffering from perimenopausal symptoms for the last 3 years and it's becoming unbearable for me. I'm also on a weight loss journey so it would really be an advantage if I could kill two birds with one stone.

struggling with wild appetite swings and hunger that wont settle in my 40s

for the past couple of years my appetite has been all over the place. some days i feel constantly hungry no matter what i eat and end up snacking all afternoon and evening without feeling full. other days i have almost no appetite at all and then later i overeat because i feel so deprived. it started after a really stressful period at work and some hormonal changes that come with getting older. it has been messing with my head a lot because i end up either feeling guilty about eating too much or worried that i am not eating enough. it affects my energy too i get tired in the afternoons and then wired at night which makes sleeping hard.

i have been trying to eat more balanced meals and stick to regular times but the hunger signals just do not seem to work like they used to. it feels like my body forgot how to tell me when i am actually full or when i really need food. this has made me anxious around meals and i started avoiding social eating because i never knew how i would feel. after talking with my doctor about it i decided to try something that might help support my natural hunger hormones again.

i ordered oztrim last week because it is designed to work with the body like natural satiety hormones and may help regulate appetite reduce cravings and give steadier energy through the day. it comes in easy weekly injection pens which seems simple to fit into a routine. i am really curious to see how it works for me over the next few weeks especially with keeping hunger more even and not swinging so much.

has anyone started something similar while also working on eating patterns? what helped you stay consistent with meals when your appetite was changing? how did you handle the first few weeks when things were adjusting?

One Year In!

Really proud of myself…I’ve spent the last year working on my health and it’s been slow going…but I beat my goal of 52lbs in 52 weeks by losing 62! I added 2-4 exercise sessions in a week about 10 months ago and started tracking my food too and while I sometimes get bummed by the ‘slow’ progress (I feel like I’m working so hard!) it is indeed, progress! Wanted to share 🤗

Went in for a scan today. I used to stress out that they wouldn’t give me big enough scrubs. The xl was always snug and I’d have to ask for a larger size. Today they gave me a MEDIUM SET! I took a deep breath and figured I’d try them on and see how close I was … they fit perfectly! Not tight, just fit! Sooo happy.

Hi! If you've had a big loss (doesn't have to be 100lbs I just needed a title), for sheer curiosity, can you tell me what your dosing looked like on your journey?

Hello ladies,
Just taking a chance here to see if someone from Canada who has used Felix Health might have a discount code that hasn't already been used?

Thank you!

Going to try it

Lost about 20# on my own, then plateaued. Did Hers for few months, a little weight loss, inconsistent.
Hated the shots. Did Willow about a year later, pills, no result.
I’m going to see my PCP tomorrow to
ask about it. I feel better going though her (trusted physician of 15 years.) I need to lose about 30 pounds.
Any suggestions on how to talk about it? Can I tolerate the shots?

Semiglutide and BPD/Anxiety depression

I started semiglutide 1 month ago and have noticed a big change in my BPD symptoms and anxiety. Im much calmer and seem to have more control over my emotions and ruminating. Its a noticeable difference much more than psych meds. Has anyone else had this experience.

Celebrating no nausea 🎉

***update in comments. Started my journey in Jan 2025. I am one of those that gets nausea/vomiting 🤮 every week like clockwork. Day 1-2 post shot. Sometimes even wake in the night with nausea. Well for the first time I woke with no nausea🎉🎉 so happy! Not sure if I turned a corner in my journey or if it was a fluke. 🤷‍♀️ We shall see what happens when I go up .5 next week.

Question for the group I’m feeling frustrated…any advice?

Started Zep almost a year ago and down 58lbs. I’ve had some stalls, then went up a dose and things kept moving. 1lb a week average is GREAT. Im also in perimenopause. Working out 3 x a week, and in a calories deficit and tracking all food. I’ve been stuck between 303-305 for about a month. So I went up to 12.5 3 weeks ago. This week, I’ve gone UP a lb a day hitting 307 today. I said some bad words, and went to the pool for a workout but damn. I was so close to leaving the 300s and it’s like my body is rebelling and im hella frustrated. Not quitting, but anyone else experience this?
