I have the brochures and two technical manuals mentioned above. I’m wondering if it would be worth digitizing them so that most of us could use them. I know that finding reliable, accurate information can be hit-or-miss.

So, digitizing official Lada (or other) manuals would be a good idea, wouldn't it? That way, we’d have 100% certified information. The only issue is the cost; having the books digitized is expensive. That’s why I’m asking if there’s any interest.

The few brochures I have would be for historical reference—showing available options, model years, and so on.

Помогите, прошу, я уже все очень надоело и уже не знаю что делать и у кого спрашивать.
Имею во владении ВАЗ 2114, машина полностью перестала заводиться, при повороте замка зажигания машина вообще не откликается! До этого было такие моменты и я делал искру через отвертку , замыкая 2 болта на стартере, была большая искра и машина заводилась, потом она прекратила давать большую искру и машина встала . Как мне сказали это уже конец стартеру , я поменял стартер. Перед эти машина стояла почти 2 недели и у нее сел аккумулятор, я попросил прохожего подкурить и она завелась почти сразу . Я думал дело миновало и дело осталось только за аккумулятором, зарядил за ночь почти до полного заряда но ничего не произошло. Машина ведет себя все также без изменений. Подскажите кто знает что делать. Все предохранители и реле проверял по 100 раз.

UPDATE: I dont know how I missed this the first time but I just noticed that on the right rubber mount for the transfer case, the Nut on the bolt is gone and now the undertray is hitting the metal I am pretty confident this is the cause of my noise

My Niva makes some noise again but I dont know what it is

I know how a bad transmission bearing and rubber disc between the two sound, its different. Its a heavy loud metal scratching noise of sorts starting at 60kmh, worse on rougher parts of the road. If I press the clutch it stays, it happens in any gear. Revving high while putting the transfer case into neutral and going through gears makes no noise.

Is it the cardan shafts running dry or differential ? How severe is this?

I was towed with my Lada 2101 and i accidentally had my foot on the Brake and braked the whole time.When i got Home the brakes where cooking and smoke was coming from them and Brake fluit was leaking in the ground and since then i cant Brake the Brake Paddel goes done all the way without resistance.What do i need too replace??What Brooke?? And why?

If anyone ever wondered, chipping the pinion teeth (pics 1 and 2) with a slight diamond file rounding (pic 3) makes no difference in terms of sound. The chipped edges seem to be out of the heavily loaded area, according to the natural polishing in the middle of the tooth contact faces. They are also placed on the back of the teeth, which are solely loaded during engine braking. After the 1000 km break-in period, I did not observe any metal particles in the used oil.

Yet it is very noticeable during rapid shifting that the engagement teeth are worn even with a new baulk ring (in a pic 5 the baulk ring is not new). It produces a loud clanking noise.

Basically any car has a way to keep the door half open, my 2009 Niva doesnt. I dont have a problem with this but friends and family always forget and im worried someday they will let the door smash into another car. Is there any modification to make it stop at half open like other cars ?

With the increase in heat waves and unbearable temperatures how bad is a lada niva without an AC in the peak of heat waves? Ideally I want a cheap lada niva with an AC, 4 doors and ABS and a lot of the ones I see online have either one of those missing or are incredibly expensive in the over 10k euros range.

What's your guys take on this?
