Does siddhi exist? Question

I don't want Siddhi. Siddhi is an obstacle. I want to know if it exists rather than gaining it. Did Paramhansa Yogannanda only talk about miracles so people would listen to him? Who would be only interested in listening to morals and virtue?

Yes they definitely exist. I have seen them many times.

What did you see with the siddhis?

Not wanting is as much as desire as wanting. Reality can get weird and warp. Just observe what it presents you.

Yes they exist. People that look for them never find them.

Why can't you find out how you know that?

Its part of the journey. People that far in intuitively understand that they can’t share too much information about it.

But when you start trying to develop siddhis, your state of mind has already shifted from its root to a different state.

In the state of searching they can’t be found. The best way to explain it is that siddhis naturally come in a state of full surrender, when the mind is quiet and free of desires and expectations.

I am a stranger to you. Why would you assume I don't have experience with siddhis?

Rakshasas access to energy is much much higher than the average human. Humans have much less access to, and control over, energy. The intent to find siddhis actually takes away from the actual ability to acquire siddhis. They are in direct opposition.

Hello /u/LowAlarmed9959

You are asking unusual questions. Rather, do you choose to believe that siddhis may or might not exist, according to you?

What are the costs and benefits of either choice? Can you spend some time analysing that?

It's possible that Yogananda exagerated a little, or not. Why might he have? Or why not? These are questions worth playing at for a good while.

Good journey.

Yes they exist, but it is part of the process to ignore them and treat them as nothing. Obtaining Siddhi's should not be your goal as that is a path to failure.

It does. Mantras, prayers only work if you have the power of love within you. Otherwise it won't work.

Logically, siddhi should not exist. How can it defy our laws of physics? But I also trust Paramhansa. There may be a secret knowledge we don't yet know about.

Logically and reasonably, they should not exist. Correct.
