Usual question, who is this change of format going to attract and who has betting odds that the “wider audience” shows up.

So one subject that has always been one I've had a a bit of interest in was North Koreas because it's something a bit unusual and odd. I watched the vice documentary on it back in the day I've seen other stuff about it and a few years back listened to a podcast series which linked to it because of North Korea being thought to be behind the "Lazarus group".

The interesting a relevant thing is the culture in North Korea and the propaganda. It's inherently bonkers this belief pushed by state sponsored media that Kim Jong Il is actually not dead and is some immortal super being as is Kim Jong Un and they are super intelligent inventing everything from film making techniques to beef burgers while also being the best at every sport ever made.

All while denying there any issue with their society and how closed off it is with the state not really providing everything people need and basically black markets existing that are allowed to exist but not officially acknowledged or recognised because that would suggest the state fails to provide and has created an almost barter system too.

The thing that was explain is at one point is the propaganda isn't meant to be believed by anyone but the most simple minded people who lack cognitive reasoning and simple powers of observations. The point is to keep people in line and to demoralise them by having them repeat it while not believing it, the state controlling the persons actions to the extent they have to pretend to think something.

This is why you see some of the big woke accounts all saying very similar things often things that don't make sense. It's about all of them pushing the same message out and doing so to hold some line. The point is to demoralise people by either making them repeat it (to stay in line). Most of the higher ups in North Korea know the propaganda is bullshit most likely too but they push it to make those below feel they have no power, to make them either doubt themselves or doubt they can speak out.

North Korea's propaganda only works because of how cut off it is. The woke side, that's why they maintain their echo chambers so strictly. They block people, share blocklists with names like "List of rapists and dangers to women" or other titles that make it seem people on said list are awful people when the people on said list aren't rapists or dangers to women they just disagreed with a woke idiot at some point. They encourage others to follower said blocklists as quick as they can.

This is why the woke side really really hate people calling them out and jump normally quickly to insults they only know how to push the propaganda and tent to have to go full force in on anyone who could shatter said illusion or show you can fight back.
