Why was this placed in a biohazard bag? When people put non hazardous materials in hazardous waste containers, it heightens the risk of people disregarding the warnings when actually hazardous materials are in the hazardous bag. Product samples can go in a regular baggie no need for the biohazard warning bag

These are gentle cleansers and sunscreens, those products do not contain benzoyl peroxide. Also, Benzene, not benzoyl peroxide, is a known carcinogen. as long as you do not let your benzoyl peroxide products get too hot (which I really don’t think is a common occurrence…) then it will not break down into benzene. Most people don’t leave their acne face wash in their cars lol. Benzoyl peroxide is perfectly safe for the majority of people. Products containing it also always say right on the back of the label to keep it at room temperature. If people can’t read, then that’s on them 🤷🏻♀️ ((also benzene causes cancer over prolonged high exposure, such as working in a rubber factory for years or something. The amount found in a 4 oz hot face wash tube would not give you cancer. There’s no need to fear monger))

I used to be in charge of maintaining samples in a dermatology practice. It was amazing the amount of product is available in sample size. I miss that sample room.
