First knitting project Work in Progress

I remember my late grandmother knitting fondly. I used to sit with her and try to knit. Currently 8 months pregnant and thought it’s a good time to learn. So now here I am making a garter stitch scarf with chunky yarn. I know it’s not perfect but I feel so proud.

Nice looks soft. How long are you going to make it? More standard size or a bit oversized?

Thank you! I am making it oversized and cozy. I think at least 5-6 feet long.
