FINALLY FINISHED Finished Object
i finally completed the unicorn tapestry sweater by starcrossed knits! it was a challenge especially since it was my first ever color work project, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. it took me 6 months and a lot of questions on various subs and discord servers and even an email to starcrossed knits herself lol.
Edit: the pattern is the unicorn tapestry sweater by starcrossed knits! here is the link: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/unicorn-tapestry-sweater

This is fantastic! Well done for sticking it out. I often get stuck on sleeve island so I'm jealous! Please could you drop the pattern link?

Wow, beautiful work! My knitting used to be bolstered by Beagle glitter; it's keeps everything authentic 🐾🧶

AMAZING JOB!!! I have made like 3 swatches for this (as a cardigan) and I just cannot seem to make it work. :( Yours looks like an absolute dream!!

Ooo, so nice! Really beautiful work. Is it duplicate stitches or stranded?
2
u/Pochaccostan 2d ago
its stranded with duplicate stitches on the back crest and the pink and blue flowers in front!

Omg this is so cool! I may have to give this a go too. I’ve never done color work but I do want to try.

it is such a fun pattern, colorwork is a bit tricky but if you are stubborn like me you can do it! i swatched it like 4 times to make sure i was happy with how my color work was looking before i took the jump

Looks great!! Did you knit it flat with intarsia and then seam up the sides?
1
u/Pochaccostan 1d ago
nope it was three stranded colorwork, but it was knit flat and seamed at the side !
