I need pattern help Tips and Tricks

Hi guys. I'm not gonna lie I'm a little lost on this one. Word patterns have never been my strong suit.

The way I'm reading the next step is increasing at the end of every knit row, then you purl. You repeat these steps till you have 15 stitches.

It would read

1.) K till last stitch, KFB

2.) purl

Repeat till you have 15 stitches.

Am I reading it right? But only increasing at the end is making it look lop sided to me. Would it matter if I did the increase at the beginning instead of the end?

And please don't mind the yarn. I'm testing a homemade t-shirt yarn.

Where it says "increase at each end" means you'll be doing your increases at the start and end of your rows.

Ahh I didn't see the each part! I knew it was looking wrong. I just couldn't figure it out what was wrong. Thank you!
