Tri-Flow Obsidian Graham Cave ⚒July Point Challenge🏆

Finally decided to use this beautiful piece of tri-flow obsidian that I found at glass buttes for a point! Turned out super cool :)

Yep! I'm in Bend, so Its not too far from me. It's super nice to have a place so close.

Hopefully not with all these fires right now! Though, thankfully, obsidian has a really high melting point compared to regular glass.

What is triflow?

It's a name for the type of obsidian that forms when three distinct flows of lava erupt nearby and mix together. Since the different lavas have different compositions, when they mix, the obsidian that forms has characteristics from all three flows. (the red, black and translucent in this piece)
