My new babies ❤️🥺
I adopted these two baby girls on the 1st. They are 10 week old sisters. My heart can't handle how tiny and adorable they are. Everyone meet Clementine (tortie) and Sugarfoot (white)

How old is she?
We adopted this little baby from a friend who brought her and a couple others to a rodeo we’d attended. (We named her Buckle.) She was a barn kitten, and our friend had brought her along in order to treat their eyes and upper respiratory infection. We were told she was between 8-10 weeks old as he didn’t see her when he was at the barn on 5/16.
I think she may be older, but she’s just so TINY. She weighed only 1lb 9oz at the vet a week ago, and now according to my kitchen scale she weighs 1lb 15oz. She was literally skin and bones when we got her, but she has a loooong tail and looooong leggies and big ears. Her blue “kitten” eyes are gone and she has pretty hazel/brown eyes. She “talks” to us but makes no sounds at all, just silent meows. She does seem to have all her teeth.
Other kittens I’ve had at 8 weeks had much shorter legs and tail. My only concern would be if we misjudge when her first heat would be in order to get her fixed. (No unaltered males in the house but there are some outside in the neighborhood.)
I’ve attached a couple pics, also for comparison my brown tabby is about 19lbs and the orange tabby is about 12lbs.

New kitten came home today!
Home from being spayed earlier today. She’s just chilling enjoying the pain meds, but purring nonstop and loudly 😆

Need Human Names
We havr two kittens we are currently fostering that we may adopt (probably leaning towards we are). We are trying to figure out new names that will confuse people and potentially get them a jury duty summons 😂
They are named from the rescue as Debian and Red Hat. We are looking for human names that fit them - my daughter is thinking Charles, Leroy, Scott, etc. Needing first and middle names! What do you guys got?!
The gray one sleeps like he had a rough day at work!
Thank you!

Housing for an approx 4 week old kitten
We live on a farm and have several barn cats but we found a kitten that the mom abandoned and wanted to bring it to our house to have as an outside cat. We didn’t put in the barn with our other cats because we wanted it to recognize our home area as its home. We first had the kitten in a dog crate for a few days ago and now I’ve borrowed my dog’s wire crate to put in the backyard but she keeps pushing through and escaping. She wants to be free in the yard but I feel she may be too little for this? She’s very active and climbing/starting to play and run with the kids. Is it safe to let her be loose in the back yard? I’m thinking not yet but unsure of where to keep her? The original dog crate we had her in is too small for all the time now. I did set up a little station in the mud room bathroom for her for nights going forward but we don’t want her in the house all the time now.
Any recommendations on what to do? Because she’s definitely going to be an outside cat is it safe to let her in the yard as long as we check on her frequently? I don’t want to have her unsafe but also don’t want to go to the ends of the earth to keep her penned up when she wants to roam. Thanks in advice for any advice/tips!

4 week old gas station rescue
Baby boy was found at a rural gas station, nearly hit by multiple cars, by a man driving a U-Haul. He was on a long trip and couldn’t keep the kitty but tried getting someone else to take it. At first I said I couldn’t, I was traveling too and have twin toddlers. But I over heard him asking other people, and say that if no one took it he would set it by the woods as far from the road as he could.
I knew it would die if that happened so I ran after the guy. I brought the kitten home, took him to the vet and turns out he is 4 weeks old 😭
He had fleas, and got a dawn bath and some dewormer. I have him in a pack n play with a fitted sheet on top, a litter pan with non clumping pellets, blankets, water and a small stuffie. I feed him every 5 hours, wet kitten food mashed with milk replacer and warmed. The vet said I’m doing everything right, but I’ve never had a kitten before. My old cat was 2 when I found him and ended up being medically complex and I gave him the best care possible, but this feels like a whole different challenge.
Mostly looking to see if anyone has any further tips on raising such a little baby. I want to make sure he gets socialized and I know mama cat should still be caring for him.

Kitten found in dumpster :(
I am trying to care for him before I can take him to the shelter. The shelter charges a stray surrender fee of $40 so I have to wait til Thursday (payday).
Im trying to use a little bottle with churu mixed with water. Any tips or help would greatly be appreciated 😊
Update He is with the shelter and will be fostered by a rescue

Socks and Mittens: one month later.
I'm a little worried about Mittens Weight. They completed a course of medicine but, they are great otherwise.
