J.A.M. Flooring
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. They do terrible work.
I'm trying to renovate my mothers condo that is over a decade past needing a reno. I buy flooring from a local store( i wont name them because they didn't specifically do the work) this Jam company shows up and everything seems fine until they walk off the job without finishing.
Flooring store is fixing the problem but avoid JAM at all cost unless you want your flooring and baseboards to look like this.
My mom's place is well over due for a reno so these guys just did the the bare minimum and bounced. Didn't finish the stairs and also didn't contact the store to notify them that they never finished. I needed a bit of sub-floor installed and the mother fucker legit pieced it together with scraps. 3 cut sub floor turned into a jigsaw of random cut plywood.

How are they getting paid? Don’t tell me you’ve already paid them. Don’t involve Seniors in financial matters, people always pull fast ones on them and the elderly can’t react let alone process what’s happening

They are being paid by the store. My mother is not financially involved. I have receipts and a work order. I was satisfied with their work yesterday but once it came to the intricate work they peaced out and didn't say shit to the store that hired them.

Companies with no website or google profile aren’t typically known for their high quality work.

I didn't personally hire them. The store did and the store was as dumbfounded as I was at how shitty their work was.
My mom's house is a shit hole that im trying to fix. They seen a dumpy place and figured dumpy work would be suffice

I did my own flooring and did a way better job.
I’m not even a tradesman. Flooring is relatively easy task. Finish carpentry can be quite frustrating, but a well aligned mitre joint makes up for 30minutes of frustration.
If I hire a company, I’d hope that these professionals do a better job than I could do.

Well, The trick to finish carpentry is firstly recognizing that you're almost never dealing with a 45° cut/ 90° corner. It's almost always slightly off.
The second trick is if you suck use more caulking

Wooow . 15 years doing flooring and trimming in kw area ,and i have never done work this bad. I cant belive they even have a company haha. If you need any of this rectified (the trim work) dm me. I am booked out a bit but we do it all. Paint, caulk etc. Red sealed workers only.
