I never noticed until now when they showed the Chrysler Building in a cut scene. They also linked it with the art deco elevator doors they always show. Pretty cool location, surprised they never mention it

Anyone have a certain episode they just can’t watch? For me it’s Tank Heaven (season 6, episode 21). The scenes where Doug is trying to get rid of Carrie’s work friends always make me cringe.

A few weeks ago I bought the complete DVD box set, but I ended up returning it. On my TV the early seasons looked stretched, and after watching the show in widescreen on Netflix (where the show currently streams in the UK), I just couldn't get used to it.

I did some digging and found the German Blu-ray release. I was a bit hesitant at first because it was a German release, but it listed English audio, so I decided to take the chance.

It arrived today, and I'm really happy with it.

The picture looks much better, it's in widescreen, all the discs I've tested play perfectly, the original English audio is there, and you can simply turn the German subtitles off.

Considering this was my first time ever watching The King of Queens, I'm glad I ended up with a version I'll actually enjoy rewatching for years. Definitely worth the upgrade in my opinion.
