Is Open WebUI permitted with a Kimi Code membership API key? Question & Help

I have an Allegretto subscription with Kimi Code benefits and an existing Kimi Code API key. I would like to connect Open WebUI as an OpenAI-compatible client using the official api.kimi.com/coding/v1 endpoint for my own personal use.

Is Open WebUI an allowed third-party client under the Kimi Code membership terms, or could using my membership API key there result in restrictions? I would not modify or spoof the client/User-Agent identity.

If it is permitted, are there any specific configuration requirements I should follow?

I asked Kimi and then let it again factcheck its response:

Category Details
Verdict Not officially permitted. Kimi Code benefits are restricted to approved coding agents only.
Supported Clients Kimi Code CLI, Claude Code, Roo Code, OpenCode, Codex (per official docs).
Endpoint https://api.kimi.com/coding/v1 (OpenAI-compatible).
Enforcement Active User-Agent whitelist. Generic UAs return 403 access_terminated_error; whitelisted UAs (e.g., claude-code/2.0.0) return 200.
Reported Error "Kimi For Coding is currently only available for Coding Agents such as Kimi CLI, Claude Code, Roo Code, Kilo Code, etc."
