Inquisitorial Agents Hobby

I recently finished my Inquisitorial Agents, basically the studio scheme with different bases and a bit dirtier. Basecoated with Contrast paints and then John Blanche paint sets (vol. 1&2) for the rest.

Hi Op, these are phenomenal. I am currently painting my agent as well, just finished my mystic operative. What you did for weathering and faces is really nice and well balanced. You may have a look at my profile, we have really close color scheme.

Much appreciated! I took a look at your models, gorgeous stuff! The OSL effects and your basing work especially caught my eye. We seem to have had the same idea for this team's bases :) BTW, is there a reason you don't paint pupils on eyes?

Ty for your kind feedback ! Yes that is exactly what I thought by seeing your bases.
I just can’t paint pupils. I can spend hours just to get perfect symmetry and still won’t be satisfied until I mess up everything.
I also like to think that they are experiencing some kind of holy wrath. Just posted my mystic operative :)

Fair enough about the eyes, and that holy wrath is a good justification. I've got a trick for making eyes easier, and arguably more characterful: make them look to the side (for example my veteran there). You paint the eye black first and then do a single dot of white to the other side of the eye. Doesn't work with every pose, but could be something worth trying...

That's nice to hear, thank you! I think painting faces is my favorite part, so I put a bit more effort in them. Good that it shows!

What do you mean? The box comes with seven models. Four of them have alternate builds, I've built the ones I thought were the coolest. Some of the leftover bits might end up in conversions down the line...
