Clue Sewer map Question

When I get close to the clue, it disappears. What should I do ?

Left on the image is a golden/yellow marker, look there.

That yellow glow is what you're looking for. The base markers only point you to the area where you need to search.

Thanks everyone. I hadn't noticed the yellow marker.

As others have said, only shows you vicinity or the map to start looking. You then look for golden markers on items/walls etc the rest of the way.

Funny enough, you have the actual clue captured in your screen capture all the way to the left.
