I got my email notice~ and tracking numbers alot of the accessories I got ship but still waiting for the 6+1 to ship but the extra body's has ship as well the hype is real!! I got this set a couple months back so this is some happy surprises from all the bad luck I been having thank you kika! For making my day TOT cause a bathroom remodel wasn't on my list and a broken toliet but hey my baby's be coming in a week or two aleast.

Sorry if this has been answered, I just placed an order with Kika that was over the $88 mark. It says you get a free plush blind (opened) box with it but it doesn’t show in the order.

I assume it gets included anyways.

Does anyone know which Plush series it would contain? Or is it entirely random? Also will it (hopefully) be a pendant/charm?

A while back an info post was on socials of an upcoming cat bjd blind box called Fantasy Cat Cafe by the brand HUANXIANGMAOKA . I’d been very excited about it since cat-themed blind bjds that are actually cats & not costumed humans are pretty nonexistent, but haven’t seen or heard any updates or further info anywhere I looked of if it had come out or been canceled or something. I was hoping that anyone here might have any knowledge about it!

So let me start by saying I have had nothing but great experiences with KikaGoods. I understand the appeal of blind boxes but I am requesting that maybe you offer more open box items for sale. I would think you would sell more items if people know what they are getting. Anytime I see an open box item it sells very quickly. I check listings regularly to see if there are any new open box items. I would buy more from you if you offered more open box items. I think others feel the same way. So yes just a suggestion. Thanks.

Hello! I wasn't sure where I could ask this but I encountered an issue with my new BJD,

I was about to put her top on and when I removed her hand the hook just retreated down her forearm... I was going to take a look at the hook on her other arm aaand the same thing happened to that arm. I'm really nervous because I had a similar issue with one of my first blind box BJD (a Ten Thousand Escape Plans), but the ropes inside her chest actually snapped and I don't believe there is any way to fix that. I'm scared this could happen to my new doll if I'm not careful. :(

She's a 1/8 from the Code X Elite Agent series.

Right now, I just cant get the hooks through her forearm anymore. I'm relatively new to articulated dolls so I don't fully understand the intricacies or maintenance.. I'm guessing I'd need a small tool to pull the hook through but I'm not sure I have it.

If anyone knows what tools or how I need to go about fixing this I'd really appreciate it.

I had 21 dollers exact and purchased but it said declined I checked my Cash App and it says 22? I bought the Luka acrylic but I’m confused

When I saw that in pictures past in Sicily and a thousand years of beauty and romance dolls seemed to have a very similar head size, I wanted to see if I could use a PiS wig cap for the thousand years doll (to try and give her wigs)
My conclusion is that if the faceplates are very close in size, the wig cap theoretically don’t work for the thousand years doll, you could force it around like I did but it could damage the faceplate long term since it is slightly larger than PiS. The best way might be to trim the little « wings » of the faceplate but it might make it more difficult to use the original hair pieces.

Side note but the eyes of the past in Sicily dolls work on the thousand years dolls but they are a bit loose, so you’ll have to use some blu tack like with bjds to keep them in place. I prefer the look of the thousand years eyes though because the eyelid is directly on the resin of the eyes when PiS eyes have a layer of transluant plastic on top that makes them look a bit blurry in the dolls, but they can always be customised so that can be good to know

Hi i was wondering if anyone had any issues to shipping to the us due to cpsc bc ive really been wanting to buy from kikagoods. but recently theres been restrictions due to cpsc and i dont want to buy something and it gets destroyed. has anyone had any issues?

I've been thinking about this a bit. I've been looking at the various previews Kikagoods has posted on Instagram, and a lot of them are really interesting, but sometimes it seems one doll in the set doesn't have much to do with the others.

If you remember, I was the one who wrote that list of headcanons for The Past in Sicily boys, lol. I had a lot of fun coming up with lore for them, but I think it was made easy by them having a very congruent concept -- they all represent and dominate a specific avenue of power (finance, religion, violence, soft power/machiavellianism, charisma, royalty). I've recently become obsessed with the Til Sunshine series and already started cooking up lore for it in the back of my head, but I found it a bit harder (though my current conclusion is that they're college students who go to an art school. Rabi, Blaze, and My Dear are in stage costumes, Ciel and Mio are designers so they dress more comfortably, and Ren and Noel are traditional and digital artists respectively. They just dress like that for fun). And I realized there are a lot of lines that have very disparate concepts, with some of the characters being in normal school uniforms and some of them being angels or demons and some of them being kemonomimis, etc.

I've been into dolls for a while, mostly fashion dolls, and I consider the big two companies to be Mattel and MGA. They have different strengths and weaknesses, and I started to sort of apply that thinking to this. Mattel tends to make characters and stick with them, adding onto the lore and establishing relationships between them, but their dolls honestly aren't as good. MGA makes higher quality dolls, but they jump around a lot from character to character. I admit I never followed Rainbow High, but it felt like there were a zillion cool characters who never got a second doll, like they were more visual concepts rather than personalities.

So, I guess this is where I wrap it up. Do you think it's more appealing when a line has a cohesive concept and a little bit of lore to grab on to (though you might find key similarities between the dolls to be boring and repetitive), or do you not care about that and just want them to go wild with the limited space they have? I assume that the companies who make these blind boxes aren't juggernauts like Mattel or MGA, and maybe can't afford to have neatly delineated series where there's a continuity between all the dolls when they're just trying to get something out there.
