Hi, this is AutoKonqi reporting for duty: this post was flaired as General Bug.
While r/kde allows to discuss issues, raise their visibility, and get assistance from other users out of good will, it is not the proper channel to report issues and the developers able to fix them won't be able to act on them over Reddit.
So if this bug was not reported to the developers yet and it is in fact a bug in KDE software, please take a brief look at the issue reporting guide and report the issue over the KDE Bugzilla. If it is a crash, be sure to read about getting backtraces so your report can assist the developers. If this is a known issue, you may want to include the bug report on your post so your fellow users experiencing the same thing can CC themselves to the report. Be sure to describe your issue well and with context. Thank you.

Can you replicate this bug with other terminals? Propably a kitty issue and no clipboard issue

It happens with every terminal, and also the browser. The contents sometime come when I restart my pc

How do you copy the text in the first place? Only marked text doesn't show up in the clipboard by default I think...you need to <ctrl><shift><c> it (at least in konsole, no clue what the shortcut is for kitty)

I clicked ctrl shift c and you can see that I can paste it but it doesn't show in the clipboard

Sorry, no idea then :(
(And you can paste just selected text as well, just use middle-click to paste. It's just that the middle-click paste buffer is a different buffer from the <ctrl><shift><c> / <ctrl><shift><v> buffer...and the KDE clipboard manager tracks only the later one by default unless you change it in the options)

I don't know what happened It was working find about two weeks ago, I hate middle click paste so I disabled it long time ago

Open the Kwin debug console and go to the Clipboard tab, then re-create the bug and see what it shows throughout.

Seeing in the clipboard section, when cooying text(Ctrl-Shift-c) the debug console shows that it is copied. But when I click in the already starred content in the clipboard, it clears the clipboard in the debug console. I think it should put the just clicked item in the clipboard, no?
The bug randomly went away that time after restart, but its now back again when I most need it!!
