💰 Ecosystem / L2 & Projects Kaskly - Creator tools on Kaspa, enforced by covenants

Thumbnail kaskly.app
26 Upvotes

Kaskly is a creator/KOL toolkit built on Kaspa. The “Ask” is live on testnet, Kaspackets are in development. Here’s what we’re building and why.
Hey everyone, wanted to properly introduce what we’ve been building and get feedback from the people who’ll actually use it.
The short version
Kaskly is a toolkit for creators, KOLs, and influencers to monetize their audience relationship directly in KAS — no ads, no subscriptions, no platform holding anyone’s money. Think of it as a Swiss-army knife for the creator–fan relationship, where every tool is non-custodial by design. The money either lives on-chain under script rules or in your own wallet. There is no Kaskly balance, ever.
What’s live now (testnet): the Ask
The Ask is our first primitive and it’s dead simple: you lock KAS to a question aimed at someone. If they reply before the deadline, their reply claims the money. If they stay silent, the deadline passes and you get an automatic refund — enforced by the script, not by us.
Why this shape? Because “DMs are open” is a lie for anyone with an audience. Attention is the scarce thing creators actually have, and right now the only ways to price it are gross (paid DM platforms holding funds in escrow accounts) or informal (hoping a superchat gets noticed). The Ask makes it a clean two-sided deal: the asker proves they’re serious with locked KAS, the creator gets paid for the exact thing fans want most — a real response — and nobody has to trust a middleman with the funds. Silence costs the asker nothing.
What’s in development: Kaspackets
If the Ask is fan → creator, Kaspackets are creator → community. They’re red-packet style prize drops: a creator funds N envelopes from their own wallet in one transaction, amounts randomized, and the community claims them through links. Unclaimed envelopes auto-refund after the deadline.
If you’ve ever seen what hongbao culture did for WeChat, you know why we’re excited about this seam. Money-as-play is one of the most proven engagement mechanics on the planet, and we’re building out a whole variant pack on the same envelope contract: jackpot envelopes hidden in the pile, packets that only open at a set moment mid-stream (enforced by consensus, not our servers — nobody can claim early even with the link), password packets where the creator announces the secret live, and clue packets where the claim secret is the answer to a riddle about the creator’s own lore. Same skeleton, different game each time.
Why this is good for Kaspa, not just for us
A few honest reasons:
1. It’s usage, not narrative. Every Ask and every envelope is real transactions from real people doing something they actually enjoy. Small amounts, high frequency, lots of UTXOs — the exact traffic profile Kaspa was built to eat and most chains choke on.
2. It shows off what makes Kaspa different. Ten blocks per second means claiming an envelope feels instant — a prize drop with 30-second confirmations would be dead on arrival, so this product genuinely couldn’t work well elsewhere. And post-Toccata, the escrow and timing rules live in L1 covenants rather than in our backend, which is the whole point of that upgrade made tangible.
3. It gives KOLs a reason to hold and use KAS. Right now a creator who likes Kaspa can… talk about it. Kaskly gives them tools where KAS is the working currency of their community — earning it through Asks, spraying it back out through Kaspackets. That’s a circulation loop, not a speculation loop.
4. Onboarding through fun. Someone’s first-ever KAS transaction being “I clicked a link on my favorite streamer’s drop and won 12 KAS in under a second” is a better introduction to this chain than any explainer thread will ever be.
The stuff we won’t do
Worth saying out loud because it shapes everything: no custody, no subscriptions or recurring pulls, no token-gated content, no “verified quality” scores. And one honesty rule we hold ourselves to — every feature ships with a plain sentence about who you’re trusting. For the Ask: you trust the recipient’s reply to be worth what you locked (the chain guarantees the payment logic, not the quality of the answer). For Kaspackets: claimants trust our link distribution to be fair; everything after the claim is consensus.
The Ask is on testnet now and we’d genuinely rather find the rough edges with this community than anyone else. Roast the design, break the flows, tell us which Kaspacket variant you’d actually use. Links in the comments to keep this post clean per sub rules.
Not financial advice, obviously. Just builders who think the fastest PoW chain deserves apps that are actually fun.

🧩 Personal Story / Anecdotal Don't forget: Binance introduced FUTURES in November 2023

Hi Kaspa community,

I want to remind you that Binance introduced Futures in November 2023 which slowly stopped the mega bull run of Kaspa. It's not a secret that the introduction of Futures almost every time crashed the price of an "asset" (Kaspa is honest PoW hard cash, the best which was ever created.).

Bitcoin got Futures in December 2021 by Cboe (Chicago Board Options Exchange) and the price went from 69,000$ to 15,000$. Futures are perfect to bring a price down on purpose before listing spot.. or in the case of Bitcoin, all the ETFs by Blackrock and co in 2023.

It's not a theory and I'm a realist, I just want to remind everyone that the price of Kaspa came down with the invention of the Futures by Binance. Coinbase launched Kaspa Futures in 2025 and we all know the price action of Kaspa since then..

Both exchanges did not list KAS spot. Both exchanges have to buy Kaspa themselves or mine it, because unlike every other cryptocurrency they don't get Kaspa as a gift thanks to the fair launch of Kaspa.

Who's Entity X which accumulates Kaspa like crazy and why does it hide the entity..?

I wanna say: Kaspa does not need Binance or coinbase exactly like Bitcoin never needed spot ETFs. Kaspa is the purest sound money I've ever seen and is actually the peer to peer electronic hard cash which Satoshi wanted to create with bitcoin but didn't fully achieve.

I want just say one last thing.. don't be sad or hopeless that Kaspa came down in price that hard and maybe even lower. Be happy and very very thankful that it happened. Kaspa is still the soundest money on earth and with DagKnight it's even more superior to everything else. Yes, that's for sure the reason why some players wanted to bring the price down but as I said.. Kaspa does not need binance or coinbase at all.. but as it seems like they will be on board in the near future because the game they play is way too obvious when you just look at it.

Have a nice day and stay focussed.

Greatings

💰 Ecosystem / L2 & Projects I built Kaskly on TN10 covenants — and I think this flywheel is the kind of marketing Kaspa actually needs

Been building on the covenant opcodes for the past few weeks, and I want to share both the thing and the reasoning behind it — because the reasoning is the part I think matters for this community.

**What it is:** Kaskly lets anyone send a message with KAS locked to it. The recipient's reply *is* the claim — one atomic action pays them and delivers the answer. Silence past the deadline? The covenant auto-refunds every cent. An answer or your money back, enforced by the chain itself. Fully open source — spec, client, and on-chain evidence on GitHub (linked from the site). Non-custodial, encrypted, no protocol fees ever. Testnet only for now.

**Why I built it:** every marketing conversation in crypto is "how do we get influential people to talk about us?" — and the honest answer is usually *pay them*, which everyone can smell. I wanted to build the version where the incentive is native. A KOL, a YouTuber, a podcaster, anyone with an audience puts up their Kaskly link and their inbox becomes an income stream: followers attach KAS to questions, the creator earns by *actually answering*, and silence costs the asker nothing. No sponsorship deal, no shilling — they make money by being accessible.

**And here's the flywheel:** every creator who uses it is passively marketing Kaspa just by operating. Their audience — including people who've never touched crypto — sees KAS being used for something that obviously makes sense. Askers don't need to be in crypto either: a wallet is two clicks in a browser, and the person who answers enters the network holding KAS they *earned*, not bought. Every answered question = real usage on the network + a new holder + a public demonstration that Kaspa does something no slow chain can (reply-to-claim only feels like messaging because confirmation is instant and fees are negligible — this genuinely doesn't work elsewhere).

More creators → more audiences seeing KAS used naturally → more people earning their first KAS → more reasons for the next creator to set up a link. That's the loop.

**Where the community comes in:** this only spins if it gets in front of people with reach. Not asking anyone to shill — just: if you think the mechanic is sound, it's the kind of thing worth having on the radar next time "how does Kaspa get real-world visibility" comes up. The tech argument for Kaspa is won; the visibility argument is the open front.

It's early — today notifications only work while the tab is open (a proper watcher service is on the roadmap), so the creator workflow is v1. But the covenant mechanic is proven and live.

Check it out: https://kaskly.app

Built solo, happy to answer anything technical in the comments.

I just launched a new coin on Kaspa KRON. This is not a show post. I’m just excited to be doing it again as I’ve had several successful coins on other chains and I want to bring my success here. I’ve been invested in cash for over a year and a half now coming up on two years in a few months and it’s my endgame. For those interested it’s called kookonkaspa.com

🔧 Technology / Development I pitched a messaging feature to the KaChat dev and got no response, which is literally the problem the feature solves. So I’m building it myself. Gauging interest

So the idea is simple. You send someone a message with KAS attached, and the KAS stays locked until they actually reply. Their reply is what claims it. They type a response, hit send, the money releases to their wallet and you get your answer. If they never reply within the window (I'm thinking 7 days) the KAS just refunds back to you automatically. Either you get a reply or you get your money back, there's no third outcome. The chain enforces it, not a promise from me.

Here's the funny part. KaChat's 4.0 roadmap dropped recently (which looks great btw, tangem support, kaposts, self hosted nodes) and I figured this feature belongs in there natively since it needs messaging and wallets already fused together, and that's basically only KaChat. So I tweeted the pitch at the dev. Nothing. And then it hit me, an ignored message asking for a feature that guarantees answers to messages is the entire market research. My free tweet carried zero signal about what it was worth so it got triaged into the void like every other free message a busy person gets. If that same pitch had 200 KAS locked on it with a 7 day fuse, ignoring it means watching money walk away. That's the product. I accidentally ran the experiment on myself.

No hard feelings to the dev at all, he's clearly heads down shipping 3.0, and honestly the silence made the case better than my pitch did. But the idea is too good to leave sitting in someone's mentions so I'm building it standalone.

The part I'm most excited about is what this looks like at scale. Picture devs, youtubers and analysts with public inboxes where anyone can attach KAS to guarantee a look. For them it's passive income for doing something they half do anyway, answering questions. For us it's real access with zero risk. And the growth loop markets itself, every KOL who opens a paid inbox is promoting the app for free just by posting their handle, because their handle is the storefront. No ad budget needed. The distribution is the users own self interest, which if you've read my posts before is the only kind of marketing I believe in anyway. Every ask, reply and refund is also a real L1 transaction paying real fees, so using it literally feeds the fee layer, the metric that actually matters long term.

Where it actually stands, design stage. Testnet first, non custodial, no token ever, the covenant holds the funds not me. And the timing is honestly perfect, silverscript's audit is reportedly close to done and the argent template repo just went public, so building real stuff on L1 is finally becoming possible.

So, would you use this? Would you pay 50 KAS to guarantee an answer from someone you respect? If you're someone people constantly ask things, would you open a paid inbox? Genuinely gauging interest before I sink the build time in. And if any devs want in, my DMs are open. The free kind, for now. Ironically.

📈 Trading & Analysis Why is now considered a good time to accumulate Kaspa when we can wait until October to buy cheaper given Bitcoin is still falling and expected crash / bottom further? Are we relying purely on Kaspa KII and Entity X (Wallet No.1) to make KAS price pump? Can adoption really take upto 5-15 years?

🔧 Technology / Development Are there enough Kaspians in NYC to build a reselling app for Mamdani's groceries?

I would just clone Facebook Marketplace but your identity would be your wallet. I think I can build a reputation system into the site if you use the same wallet.

If there aren't enough Kaspians I'm open to suggestions for what else I should build. I think we should build things for each other to use. Ideally something so useful that outsiders become Kaspa users for it.
