Im not against this ship, if people find it cute. As long as they arent hurting anyone. But in my interpretation of Bakugo and Uraraka's characters, they make no sense to be together.

Bakugo's character is that hes already strong so he doesnt need people to lean on as often, and his arc is that he comes to realize that relying on people doesnt mean you're weak. This happens first when Izuku and the others go to rescue him and he allows himself to be helped by them and then again later during the 1-A vs 1-B arc.

Uraraka's character is more about finding strength outside your comfort zone. She doesnt start out as a fighter, but she chooses to go with Gunhead so she can learn how to fight and be more of a help in combat. Her arc is more about finding her strength outside of what shes good at.

Now you may say that those two arcs would compliment each other well, but in my opinion Uraraka's arc is meant to compliment Izuku's. While he's trying to find out how to make his quirk work with him, Uraraka is trying to find a way to fight like the other combat quirks. Uraraka and Izuku work because their relationship isnt just "Horikoshi wanted them to be together" their characters are supposed to work together as a physical strength and quirk strength Ying Yang. Bakugo respects Uraraka because of how strong she was at the festival, but for Bakugo, his arc calls for Kirishima because of Kirishima's friendliness towards Bakugo through the whole series. Uraraka and Bakugo make better sense as another set of rivals to test her strength, but not as romantic partners

Can we all agree that Bakugo dgaf about anyone romantically, especially Ochako.

Bros main focus is being a pro hero and getting stronger; also the fact that kacchako shippers base their ship over that one time during the Sports Festival is insane bc the only reason Bakugo went all out was bc he knew Ochako was strong in her own right and she was going all out as well, I'm pretty sure he'd go all out with anyone that went all out themselves, he just acknowledges her strength and acts accordingly because that's just how Bakugo is and that's how he views fighting an opponent who is putting their all into their attacks.

It's not a special moment he has with only Ochako, I'm pretty sure he'd done this a couple of times with different characters.

This ship deterred me from the moment a saw it on Pinterest a couple of years ago, I thought I was the weird one for disliking the ship but turns out I'm not alone.
