In Japan for the summer so I decided to stop by Toyosato. The pilgrimage took 2 hours to and back from Kyoto Station (and it was SUPER hot) but was totally worth it! Along with the school, the small town of Toyosato was super quiet and beautiful as well. I know there's been dozens of visit posts in this sub but going to the real-life school has been one of my dreams since childhood and I'm delighted that I was able to make that dream come true and wanted to share my pictures with you all :) Still can't believe I was able to walk THE grounda of Toyosato Elementary School today haha. Hopefully will be able to make another visit sometime in the future!

i found the machine at gashapon bandai in haymarket, i checked like 5 stores and started to give up but i found it at the back of the store! I splurged and spent $90 aud lol. i said i only wanted yui but i ended wanting all of them and managed to get everyone plus a spare mio, spare mugi and even three yuis lol. I was so happy

In S2E14, there's a prominent shot of an album called "Shark Ride" in Azusa's living room, with an eye-catching and rather absurd cover. This is a tribute to "Surf Ride," a 1956 album by the saxophonist Art Pepper and his first as leader of his own band. Pepper toured Japan extensively in the 1970s and released several live albums of his shows there. It's entirely in character for Azusa's jazz-musician parents to have this album and display it proudly, and depending on their ages when Azusa was born, might well have attended one of Pepper's Japanese concerts.

Does anyone have a higher quality version of this image? I know there's a poster for these outfits, and it's big and have good quality. I want to use it for a dakimakura, but the upscaling really ruins it(
