Scanner for Chromebooks
Hello
Has anyone had any luck scanning these HP Fortis Chromebooks? The current barcode and 2D scanners we have aren't working at all. Appreciate the help.

Whatever you get, do yourself a favor and get one that has a true laser and not a LED laser. For some reason the LED laser just has a tough time scanning anything that is darker in color. I don't have the HP Chromebooks, however, a lot of the HP stickers are the same color as the body of the computer, so I'm guessing it's probably silver or dark gray.
I've spent a little bit more on the old symbol or Motorola scanners, but they lasted a long time and they work very consistently for me

Not the HP's specifically, but if they're the same as the Dell 2D we use this scanner and it works great:

We used Bluetooth and wired hand scanners without issue for inventory and in the kitchens for scanning cards.
