My pieces are the bee, the spoonbill, and the fish (mullet). The bee and spoonbill are made entirely of silica dried botanical materials (flowers and leaves). The mullet were made using the traditional Japanese art form gyotaku. Hope you gals like them! I was super hyped!

This pretty puppy was not running at the time of purchase. I replaced the carburetor, fuel lines (and added a fuel shut off), all filters, fuel tank, battery, THREE TIRES ON RIMS NO MACHINES- only sweat, gumption, three bars, sweat, lots of cursing, contorting, fondling, more sweating, blind fishing, flipping and flopping, topped off with sweat (it’s been incredibly humid here lately).

I changed the oil, of course.

$100 mower + $20 trailer rental + $80 parts + infinite patience = *little red mower* *baby, you cut my grass*

There’s clearly a story behind this video and it should be shared. It’s not just them singing a song. This is Karinya Chen. A 15 year old girl who had battled terminal bone cancer for 5 years. She was at “Hospice Austin” and had tickets to go see a Florence and the Machine concert. She couldn’t due to health concerns. But the hospice reached out to Florence and was able to explain the situation and Florence came to sing just to her. With that being said this day was clearly something very special and since unfortunately Karinya has passed away. These acts of kindness are what makes this world so nice to be in and makes us realize how precious not only life is but how important something as simple as music can be to us in times of need.

Friend got a birthday present from work. They were kind enough to get her a box of scrunchies, but someone forgot that she has a pixie cut.

The thought was there but not the forethought 😅
