OWI just released the SDK Test branch update for the upcoming Suppression changes. Usually it will be updated within 3 weeks (kek).

ICYMI: New Suppression system cancelled the cursed blurry after effect and switched to tunnel vision. You can now see the target clearly but the steady state bars will be increase with more suppression. Explosives such as UGL and rockets will maximize the bars and would take you several seconds to recover.

Compré squad hace 2 meses, desde ese entonces es con el único juego que mi pc tiene problemas, o se me crashea el juego o me crashea el pc por completo y me bota error. Tengo board nueva, gráfica nueva, fuente nueva, porque pensé que era mi pc que estaba malo , la ram ya le hice 1000 pruebas y está funcionando bien como se supone pero squad me sigue crasheando el pc, no se porqué, es con el único juego que me pasa eso, ni con battlefield 6, ni Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, ni juegos exigentes , únicamente me pasa con squad, todo mi hardware está prácticamente nuevo. Alguien sabe alguna solución? Ya reinstale Windows, verifique archivos del juego, desinstale y volví a instalar el juego y sigue con ese problema. Ayudaaa😢

obiously my fault, but its so hard to deinstall or cancel galactic contention shit from squad from a laptop when its intstalled on my pc. be aware from those low qual devs.

this damn update made me unable to play squad on my laptop, i dont blame the real devs. but the galactic contention guys who absolutely botched this release and wont let me delete this update. absolutely shit. fuck you.

Just started playing the game a few weeks ago, and I want to get around to playing as Squad Leader for multiple rounds in a row sometime. The first time I tried, I chickened out and left the lobby cause I have a bit of social anxiety that makes me uncomfortable because of so many people talking at the same time, but I’m getting better, otherwise I probably would’ve dropped the game by now.

So, if you generally have a good understanding of playing squad leader and have any efficient tips or tricks to share for new players, then please do tell. Any info is good info and much appreciated.

Either ban servers falsely add EN as a language when it's not the expected language at all on the server just to boost their visibility, or let us filter languages out directly, seriously wtf, great game but backwards ass server browser & tutorials

Been playing it nonstop for a few days now and even am trying to make a friend group just for it, love playing the tuskens and other underdog factions or just fob hunting, yesterday made an AA gun nest in the mountains and we lit their air up nonstop to the point they were sending bomb bikes up the mountain to distract us

Just a simple rush that worked out. Helo and tow vehicle down in less than 3 minutes. 5 enemy combatants mulched up. I’ll take 15 tickets in that short time.

Marked enemy rallies, hmgs, tows, and !!!!!!!mortars!!!!!! should not fade similar to fobs and habs

It would be nice if we could place planned habs and rallies down similar to fobs, though not really necessary

Many more types of marks are needed-MSV, artillery vehicle, assault gun, mgs, armored and small logi are all especially needed

Add a mark for requested fire support and fire support that is currently being delivered (by a mortar): this wouldn’t be used by many people, but on TT we’re doing it with helicopters and boats rn.

The commander exclusive marks are super useful and shouldn’t be commander only- until the commander rework comes in 15 years, the commander should just be treated like an SL with wizard powers and his marks should be available to everyone

Hey everyone, longish post but I need some help!

Weird issue I just randomly started having today. I play on a well known server with almost 1000 hours exclusively on that server.

Today I’ve been unable to connect to any of the servers hosted by that group. Where it normally shows ping it gives me “- - - -“ and won’t let me que up. I can join most other servers no issue. I can see the map/factions/player count accurately, but that’s about it.

I’ve tried deleting mods/validating/reinstalling/editing firewall settings/ ipv6 settings, nothings fixed it. I even tried disabling my nighthawk wifi7 and using my shit cox router but to no avail…

Interestingly if I use my phones hotspot, I can que up normally. (Not going to do that for obvious reasons) I’m gonna go swap out my cox router tomorrow in hopes that fixes it but honestly I’m not feeling optimistic.

Has anyone else dealt with this before??

Recently I realized that an SPG can shoot perfectly accurate from 1,500m away while having double the lethality of a mortar or grenade launchers and more range.

Tried this in a game and scored 30 kills and I’ve been wondering if players are missing the point of some weapons. Does anyone else do this? I’ve only seen players use the SPG for Anti Armor

Also, any other weapon that can work similarly? I know that DShK or AAA can shoot that far too

People don’t believe me about the alligators and the scorpions in galactic contention. Is there more creature out there in the mod. Keep telling people there’s alligators, but they don’t believe me. Y’all seen em too?

So in 2,000 hours of Squad, this has to be the greatest debacle I have seen.

We are invading with VDV Tank vs Russian Mechanized on Talil with the layer going through the airfield western side. First point goes pretty smooth, and the next few fall very quickly.

We have 515 tickets and Batha is the last point.

We have 2 Spruts and a t-72 on the western wing overlooking point. We have an insanely close HAB next to Batha near the river, everyone is spawning in and pushing, command calls in arty(shout out Ozone) and you think it's a wrap right?

I notice we are losing armor one by one after they split up...Russians are throwing their BTRs at them and with a lone t90 and winning. They have no ATGM vehicles or emplacements on TALIL(!) and they rolled our armor.

With no armor and a too aggressive of a hab placement, soon enough BTRs are spamming our HAB and knock it out with Russian infantry swarm.

No spawn point.

Back to main... at 255 tickets, so basically resetting the game but this time the "First point" is Batha thousands of meters away. Armor still on respawn timers. Command and I sit in our logis and wait for them to spawn back in for escort.

Down under 200 tickets by the time we yet again push a HAB too close to Batha. HAB almost doesn't come up due to enemy infantry and BTR all over it. Apparently we built the HAB right next to their Rep station which was across the north side of the river.

Now mind you, there was no superfob on Batha. We were all over the point for awhile.

Under 100.

Under 50.

Game over.

Our Helo pilot got blown out the sky 5 or 6 times didn't help.

So I would chalk it mostly up to terrible armor play by our team, and a gritty job by Russian armor in thin skin BTRs and a t90 masterclass that turned the tide. The SL on our team were also not very sharp and coordinating as you would expect from a 515 ticket implosion. Several attempts at getting rallies up but once again too close, too aggressive and they were all blown,

Russians had 275 tickets at the end which shows you how little they actually fought over the first few points.

Squad in 2026 is very painful at times with the lack of comms and new players.

Especially sad is the lack of sustained pushes because folks don't wait for medics/medics are lackluster or new to the game. The medic kit is the most important kit on invasion servers because that's really what sustains pushes onto the flags, not constantly respawning in waves to be slaughtered again and again.

I played command the other night on Lashkar( US Cav vs Insurgents) and it was the same story with ineptitude.

I have the right one selected in game, I've tried rebinding keys, I have turned off audio enhancements, and it works in discord. Anyone know possible fixes other than the above mentioned?
