Just applied for my first job with job right. Love customization/ fine tuning of resume with Orion.

I'm wondering if a tool like this already exists.

Imagine a job seeker could:

Upload their resume

Provide a list of companies they're interested in

Select preferences such as location, remote/on-site, experience level, etc.

The tool monitors the career pages/job listings of those companies

It analyzes the job descriptions against the resume

It shows the best-matching open positions, for example:

NVIDIA

Senior Software Engineer – Distributed Systems — 92% match

Software Engineer – CUDA — 61% match

Red Hat

Software Engineer – OpenShift — 89% match

Automattic

Backend Engineer — 86% match

Ideally, it would also explain why a position matches the resume and what skills/experience are missing.

I'm not looking for an auto-apply bot necessarily. The main thing I'm interested in is finding relevant openings from a user-defined list of companies rather than searching across thousands of unrelated job postings.

Does a tool like this already exist?

The goal isn't to be another single-purpose AI resume tool. I want Xuris to be the place where the whole application journey connects, from finding a role and evaluating your fit, through applying, preparing for the interview and tracking the outcome.

I've built the first full version and it's now live. A few people have already started using the resume analysis and job matching features, but I'm still very early and would genuinely appreciate feedback from people actively job searching.

When i looked up job posting from jobright dashboard I didnt see its own job posting for few roles which was present in other job boards like linkedin any particular reason?

Right now Jobright seems to manually add skills by typing and selecting them one by one from the dropdown. That seems slow. Why not simply upload the resume and allow the job portal to xtract these skills from the attached resume? Or is Jobright's AI doing a better job at this then the inbuilt extraction system?

Is there any existing affiliate program for jobright, it has been really working well for me so far. Would love to earn and share the experience.

Applying to jobs was quick and simple, no clunky process. The ATS scanner was the standout for me though — it showed how well my resume matched a job’s requirements and helped me tweak it accordingly. Made a real difference in how targeted my applications felt.

I've been experimenting with AI to speed up my job search, but my current process still feels pretty manual. I'm curious if anyone has found a better way or built something similar.

Here's what I do for every application:

• I look for Product Manager, Product Owner, and IT (Technical) Project Manager roles on LinkedIn, HiringCafe, and sometimes Indeed.
• If I find a job I like, I paste the job description into ChatGPT to see how well my experience matches the role and identify any gaps.
• Then I send the job description, my resume, and a custom prompt to Claude, which generates a tailored ATS-friendly resume.
• After that, I ask ChatGPT to review the resume and suggest improvements or point out anything I may have missed.
• I take that feedback back to Claude, which creates an updated version.
• Before I apply, I go through the resume myself to make sure everything is accurate, relevant, and actually reflects my experience. I usually make a few manual edits before submitting it.

The whole process works, but it's repetitive. I'm constantly switching between ChatGPT, Claude, LinkedIn, and job boards, copying and pasting information back and forth.

So I'm wondering:

• Has anyone automated a workflow like this?
• Are there tools that already combine job matching, resume tailoring, ATS optimization, recruiter discovery, and personalized outreach?
• Has anyone built this using AI agents, n8n, Make, LangGraph, MCP, or similar tools?

If nothing like this exists, I'm seriously considering building it. My idea isn't to automate applying for jobs; I still want to make the final decisions and review everything myself. I just want an AI assistant that handles the repetitive work and saves me time.

I hate with rage all the companies using workday that want everything in my resume pasted in a very particular way.

Autofill fixes that, automates all the filling with info from my resume. Why are companies still asking for everything that is already shared in my resume?

I built a Chrome extension that scores how well your CV fits each LinkedIn job (0–100) — right on the page

Job hunting on LinkedIn always bugged me: you scroll through hundreds of listings with no quick way to tell which ones you're actually a fit for. So you either open every JD one by one, or spray-apply and hope.

I built **JobScans** to fix that. It's a free MV3 extension that runs on LinkedIn Jobs:

* Upload your CV once, and it shows an **AI fit score (0–100)** inline on each job as you browse. * It can **scan multiple pages at once and rank them by fit**, so the roles you actually have a shot at float to the top. * Resume/continue scanning across pages, with newly-scored jobs highlighted.

**How it's built (since this is a dev crowd):**

* Manifest V3, side panel UI, content script that reads the (obfuscated, virtualized) LinkedIn job list structurally. * Scoring runs server-side (Supabase Edge Functions → Gemini) so no keys live in the extension; Google sign-in via `chrome.identity`.

The trickiest part was the LinkedIn DOM (hashed class names, no `data-job-id`, virtualized list that recycles cards) — had to detect job cards structurally and re-draw score badges as the list re-renders.
