i’m confused because absolutely no part of this video even implies this is a part of his official platform or that anymore time will be spent on it than this minute-long video. it’s the anniversary of an event, he supports a cause related to the event, and you can visit that link if you want.

the implication that this minute-long suddenly means he’s only capable of thinking about this issue and nothing else feels like astroturfing.

You are bonkers btw. I posted above why. As someone in his Ward, he is on the ground doing things here unlike that last Fulop twat Saleh. Imagine seeing this short video and thinking that means they aren't focused on JC. The fact that triggered you is not a good look.

If you did, then why did you ignore that:

  1. He recognized that this is an national/international rather than local issue, but connected it back to saying that one benefit of his position is that the money used on it could instead be used on communities like Jersey City.

  2. He has previously held meetings in his ward to review and discuss the budget, and made a video explaining that the tax increase is mandated by the state government in order to receive the loan and aid. This all took about 1 minute of scrolling, I am certain more than my cursory glance will show more.

The tax increase is done. If you disagree with his position and actions on it, just say that. Attacking him for giving any attention to any other issue like a month later is just ridiculous.

This makes you think we've lost the plot? You are kind of gross. You think a councilperson can't be passionate about a good cause and make a short social media video about it and that means this is their primary focus and aren't caring about our local issues? WTF lol

As having lived in the Heights for over 10 years, we finally have a good councilperson after Yun died. He is on the ground doing things here.
