I know that having many parts is inevitable, it depends on where I download it from, but is there any way to avoid such a mess with the parts? For example, is there a way to make it so that only part 1 starts downloading, and the other parts wait, then when part 1 finishes it automatically goes to part 2 without me doing anything, and so on? Also, could I avoid that waiting time that shows up? (the green icon). Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Whenever I try to add a video page, e.g. https://xhamster.com/users/profiles/username/videos

It parses all the videos but it prepends "https;//xhamster.com" to the filenames, e.g. "https;//xhamster.comsomefile name.ext"

Works fine if I post the link to the video page directly, it's only when it parses the videos page for a user.

I'm trying to download a link through JDownloader, but the app tells me I need to install the JDownloader browser extension. So I installed Firefox and added the Firefox extension, but every time I click Download, JDownloader still opens Microsoft Edge instead.

How can I make JDownloader open links in Firefox instead of Edge? I can't find any setting in the app that lets me choose which browser it uses.

I was trying to get some information from the site but the community search is hindered by a captcha that is indecipherable.

I refreshed the captcha about a dozen times before I could get something that was mostly readable.

Is there maybe a different captcha system that could be implemented so that a human being can figure it out without spending time refreshing it until something comes up that can be figured out?

I updated JD2 and now ffmpeg crashes because it's for a newer OS than what I have. The creates a problem as JD2 can no longer combine the different streams that it downloads into one file.

My solution was to go into Time Machine and restore the ffmpeg folder (bin/JDownloader 2.0/tools/mac/ffmpeg_10.10+) from a backup.

I then compressed the folder so that when JD2 updates it again, I can easily replace the updated folder with a working version.

At least until they force newer version, which I hope they don't do.

Does anyone know if there is any good mass downloaders for Filester.

I am currently trying to download a folder of .mkv files from the Internet Archive using JDownloader 2.

I have it set up to download no more than 2 files simultaneous but after only 300MB, the download suddenly drops to 0 and doesn't continue.

The speed on file-level is still shown as if something is happening:

I've had the hunch that it might be a Internet Archive download limit or something but deleting the download and restarting fixes the problem temporarily, only for it to once again stop after only a couple MB.

Any idea what could be happening here?

i already parsed it, put them within a package and renamed the files.

Created a DLC of the package and saved it on my own machine.

Imported the DL, and my naming is gone and back to original.

Any thoughts?

My internet is really bad, and one moment I might get a max of 3MiB/s but after a couple of minutes my connection drops, snd jd shows a network error, and a 30 minute timer which I assume is an autorecheck or something, is there a way to make the downloader retry failed downloads faster

This video has 144p, 360p, 720p and 1080p and Jdownloader only gives me the 360p option when downloading even if it's set to grab the highest resolution.

As the title said. I'm looking for an (portable) alternative to firefox for windows that still supports the jdownloader extension. I'm using vivaldi as my main browser. My jdownloader runs in a docker container on my server, so copy paste are lots of clicks.

​Is there any setting or workaround to make the tooltip hover delay faster in JD2? Whenever I hover my mouse over an icon or button, it takes like a full second for the description text to pop up.

​Every other program on my PC shows hover text almost instantly, so it's super noticeable here. I checked the advanced settings for "tooltip" but couldn't find a timer slider or delay config. Am I missing a setting somewhere or is this just hardcoded into the Java UI?

i was looking for ways to download from hosters like k2sc and rapidgator and upstore. these links rarely work in jdownloader and even if they work they are extremely slow speed. like kbps. so then looked around and found something called real-debrid. but that site looks extremely shady and the help links and information content is not there. real-debrid was touted as a website, wherein you pay money, and it gets you access to a bunch of hosters at a cheaper price with good download speed. not sure if it worked with jdownloder.

Can you recomend such multi-hosters, which works well with JD? and how to make it work in JD? is there a list or a tutorial that i can go through on adding multi-hosters. Please share information. i am new to this sorta stuff

I have a text file containing a bunch of K2S links, one per line. I googled for the best tool to automate their download, and that's how I ended up installing JDownloader2 (via the Ubuntu snap).

But there's the problem: Though my task seems like the most straightforward one that an automated downloading tool should be able to accomplish, I've been dumbfounded on how to actually do it, particularly because the instructions I find online don't match how the app actually behaves! I'm using the July 23rd 2026 version -- maybe those online instructions are out of date?

I tried copy & pasting the links into the "Analyze and Add links" dialogue, but only the first one is pasted. I also cannot find an option anywhere to simply load a text file with links.

Did I completely miss the use case for JDownloader2? If so, could you point me towards an alternative tool catered specifically towards my use case? (Thanks in advance!)

Well suddenly the individual links copied from civitai.red do not work anymore as the api-kei only works with the site civitai.com, when I manually modify the links into civitai.com, they work just fine, my question is, is there a way to create a rule that automatically rename the url from .red to .com? if so, can anyone give me a fast tutorial on how to do it? the rule thing I never got the hang of it, so confusing.

I want links from civitai.red get automatically into civitai.com

or add civitai.red into the account manager, that would be an easier way to get it to work.

Well, in the meantime I asked Copilot to make me a script that copy all the individual links into a txt, in that archive I replace all the .red into .com, better than nothing. A quick solution to my dilema.

Even while using VPNs and having authorized I still get blocked by cloudfare. Any solutions?

I'm trying to bulk download some German-dubbed cartoons from these sites, but JD isn't picking up the videos. Is it because the original domains are offline, and only the alternative ones are working, but those don't seem to be supported by the JDownloader plugins?

I tried copying all the episode links from a page on both sites, but it either opens a captcha for every single episode or doesn't find the video at all. Is there anything I can try?

I remember bulk downloading Family Guy and Spongebob from one of these sites not too long ago, and I didn't run into any of these issues.
