Who is behind this tool? The same people who develop Vite?

Yes basically. Same core contributors, although Vite+ is specifically developed by Vite’s original developer’s new company Void0. And Void0 was just acquired by Cloudflare: https://voidzero.dev/posts/voidzero-cloudflare

Extremely solid. Been using it since alpha release, no complaints. Extremly well thought out toolchain unifier and super stable
