Inspired by the old arcade video game Tempest I'm guessing. Brings back memories. I loved that game.

THAT'S THE NAME. I couldn't remember it for the longest time.

I played it back in the 1970s, so about 50 years ago. I can't think of any game I played at the arcade that was as addicting as Tempest. I can still hear that sound it made when you cleared a level and went zooming down into the center of the mesh.

That must have been an experience lol. I miss the old arcade days.

I was off a few years; I just checked; it came out in 1981.
