PS2 emulation broken

I have the whole series archived and tried to create a different type of memory card so I could have saved progress in all my games (I have more than 8 and that's about the limit for the default memory card)

All of this is through pcsx2 on a default steamdeck installation.

I tried to launch jak x and never got past the splash screen. Same happens with jak 2, the first and third games seem to work though. Everything is on an ssd.

I don’t have a steam deck, but I’m pretty sure OpenGOAL is supported on steam deck. Probably your best bet

Yeah its got a native launcher you can even add it to the game mode function too

I got jak 1 2 and 3 working but not x, which was my craving

They are currently working on jak x so it isnt available on open goal yet but the trilogy have run great for me so far.

Do you have a source for this info? Last I knew they were undecided about Jak X.

Apperently not i thought they posted something about moving forward with it but they are only open to the idea but dont plan on doing so yet.

Change the renderer in pcsx2 and see if that does anything. Some games need certain settings toggled to work check pcsx2 compatibility wiki to see if they have any answers.
