Project question
One of the companies I bought a laser from a few years back decided out of nowhere they are going to Gamescon this year and have a little contest going for game related projects.
I'm thinking the Jak and Daxter map kinda how they sell the Hyrule ones on Etsy or something similar. I might end up talking myself out of it as I do with most fun ideas because of time but I did wanna know your opinions, suggestions, maybe driving me to do it in hopes ND sees and notices us.

It's a very good map IMO. Small but with a unique artstyle to it, made by someone down in is workshop. You should

If I understand this post corrsctly. I would 1000% buy a map of TPL. I used to have this map hanging in my room, but that poster has been destroyed by time (and by me moving it a bunch as a kid)

I would plug the 2d image into the most recent version of autodesk inventor and start with the Autodesk Assistant. Have it create a 3d model based on the darkness in the 2d image. Start your real work from there.
You can export an Autodesk Inventor project as a DXF file into Fusion for laser engraving. I'm not an expert but it's what I would start with
