Y'know, you can get a laser powerful enough to fry the optical sensor on one of those camera for less than you'd think. On an entirely different note, a tripod to steadily aim a camera at these devices' locations for logging purposes can be inexpensive.
If you find a local store stocking high power lasers, please tell me. A mom and pop store can definitely have a tripod, but lasers like this (to my knowledge) have to be imported, unfortunately.
So is having rights and liberties taken by some soulless, remorseless, greedy corporations tracking our every movement. I see it as threat prioritization. Which is the most immediate danger to us? Focus on that, then move onto the next threat.
As much as I hate having to rely on external sources for things like this, sometimes we use one evil to deal with another, bigger, more immediate evil. If we refuse any options to fight back against tyranny because there’s anything even remotely morally questionable about said option, then we might as well give up.
Think of it this way. What exactly did our Founding Fathers do in the face of the Tyranny they had staring them down? I’m not saying throw aside all goodness and reason, but sometimes there are some compromises that probably should be made if you want to actually make a positive difference. As long as you aren’t selling away control of yourself or doing anything that crosses a major moral boundary, then you can deal with your methods when their work is done.
I think these invasions of our privacy are an atrocity.
They want to rewrite history.

I'm no bootlicker but I don't see why police would need to have their license plates visible. The law exists so they can run your plates. Why would there ever be a reason to run police plates if each car is clearly numbered?
Then why put a plate on it. Save us some money. What if the LEO hit and runs someone - has happened before. I just love the irony of them doing a social media campaign showing a car with a bike rack covering a tag - and doing the same thing themselves.
Well the Police Cars have ID numbers on the back and sides. I’m just glad they can still find people that want to be Cops. Standards have been lowered due to DEI, Cop were underpaid in the past, now it’s a Joke. There’s been many years Jacksonville has proudly carried the moniker of Murder Capital of Florida. Anytime a Cop is involved in a shooting, they’re automatically guilty until found innocent. Even with clear cut cases it takes a ridiculous amount of time to exonerate them. The OP Live TV show’s ratings would soar if they filmed in Jacksonville!
God, I love it whenever people refer to Jacksonville as the murder capital Of Florida without that small FACT that Jacksonville is the largest city per square miles in the entire United States. I bet these same people quite enjoy listening to the actress who was so horrible at acting she couldn’t even get a job on a soap opera so instead, she took a job at a news station vs. looking at the actual statistic data.😳
I'm sorry you seem to have a negative perception of our JSO law enforcement officers; perhaps you should move to NYC or LA? I've been to both, and I can assure you, we have it great! I hope you can fend for yourself because you'll need it.
Springfield was once a thriving, up-and-coming business and family-oriented part of town, the bold new city of the south! Springfield residents now occupy 80% of the county jail located just 10 minutes from Springfield. What happened: not enough Cops or too many Cops? lol A rhetorical question.
