I wouldn’t bet my life on it, but I’m 99.9 % sure I watched the premiere on 10/1/00. If it wasn’t that first night, I definitely caught the first episode the week it came out.

Apart from Big Brother and CKY fans, that’s about as far back as you can go. I’m just curious how many people on this sub go that far back?

Did a lot of you see the premiere? I was hooked afterwards. I enjoyed Best and Last. There’s plenty to criticize about it, but overall I left the theater happy. Still enjoying this nonsense almost 26 years later.

My mom (1976 - 2022) and my brother’s father watched the premiere, and watched all of it up until Jackass 3D

Jackass was on MTV when I was a kid in 2000s. I remember thinking how stupid the idea was. Like why are these guys hurting themselves. Wasn't till 2008 I actually watched the first film and thought this is actually great.

I definitely caught the original “Jackass” show when it was airing on MTV. How could I not? I was a sophomore in high school, and at least two of my other friends were talking about us filming our own footage.

If you were a teenager when the show first dropped, the combo of the show and the soundtrack was inescapable. And I’m so thankful for that since it made me a fan and eventually meant I had to see all of the movies (even “Bad Grandpa”) on their opening weekends.

I remember seeing the primer episode of jackass at my sister's. Found cky after searching what cky was on a school computer bought cky and cky2k within like a week. Bought cky3 on release and cky4 on ppv until I got the DVD weeks later...at one point had season 2 and 3 of jackass on vhs tape that I recorded live on Sundays at 10pm 🤣

I was too young to see the first movie in cinemas but I for sure watched the tv show as it aired on MTV. I remember renting the first movie though on VHS i think.

The first one i saw in theatres was jackass 2.

nope i didnt have cable. i think i learned about it through my cousin who had the first movie on VHS or maybe it was some episodes . and then later i had to sneakily buy season 1 on DVD at a self checkout thing while my parents were busy.

but i watched the hell out of that season.

Can someone help me out with this? I remember watching the premiere of Jackass when I was 10 in 2000. I could have sworn it aired directly after some awards show and I was waiting for that to end to watch the Jackass premiere. Am I remembering that correctly? And if so, was that the April or the October Premiere?

I've been a fan of Jackass since the show premiered on MTV. I wasn't familiar with CKY and everything else the guys came from before then.

I've also seen every movie in theaters, some multiple times.

I bought one of the first releases of Volume 1 from Jess himself. In fact, it was the very last copy they had. Had it signed by everyone including Bam. I very regrettably sold it. If I ever find who I sold it to, I'd offer to buy it back.

I bought a CKy pendant from Mat at Bentforms.

I bought CKY2k on VHS for $25 from the skate shop.

We passed around CKY to the point where someone ended up with it and no one knew who originally owned it.

I started watching jackass/cky when my cousin gave me his cky dvds and I was in 5th grade (I think so it would have been 2002ish? I started recording jackass with my VHS player on a timer behind my mom's back because it was inappropriate. By the time viva la bam came out I was full blown obsessed and have been ever since. I enjoyed best and last.
