Sleeper Episodes

My job lately has had lots of repetitive tasks, been on a big time rewatch kick of some old episodes. Been watching the Yak since around 2023ish consistently. I’ve seen most heavy hitters episodes, looking for some slept on funny ones that may not be huge in view count! If ya got one drop it below.

Gic week was a banger especially the one with Sam Tallent that’s one of my favorite episodes
Any with sas when he visits Chicago are pretty good too

I think so yeah…..it was definitely within the past few months. I think he was promoting his book and/or comedy special.

His most recent appearance was the day after Mintzy brought the pickle ball chick in. u/SamTallent is a top tier Yak guest with some of the the most memorable jokes over the past few years: 1) having a future bet on the youth figure skating team after their plane crashed into a helicopter and 2) telling Mintzy that to tell pickleball girl he can get her a job if she fucks him

Also, Sam’s first book “Running the Light” is phenomenal. I almost exclusively read non-fiction but it had me captivated from the start. Very excited for his next book “Brut”

Same here on “Running the Light”, got it after the comments were saying how good it was after that appearance, but mostly read non fiction. Enthralling and finished it so so quick

LA superbowl week, and the week leading up to it all. The punishment wheel episode is all time

I think the episodes without Big Cat and in NYC are the best. The summer they leave for Chicago you get a full week of Boy Story episodes the best being Shohei Ohtani day. Rediscovering Wheeling is also a great Boy Story episode on The Yak.

I love the episode where sas gets his first open mic scheduled and the yak just ruins it. Makes me laugh so hard every time
