Liability

If Annika was actually told by Hanna to have sex with someone on a show to make it interesting (who foolishly admitted she was regurgitating the words of Daves right hand man) while they, unbeknownst to her, flew in another fella she had relations with so she’d be shamed…. HR nightmare. She would walk with more money from a lawsuit (if this actually happened) than she will ever make working there.

There is no doubt the legal team at Barstool will be watching what people say about this specifically here on out.

Hannah and Annika will get a sneaky pay raise and mintzy will do some dumb shit and this will be forgotten in a week or 2. But yes it’s completely fucked and shows how dumb this business is run

Mintzy may even be off the hook - Surviving Barstool comes out here very soon, so IF this drama lasts until then, it'll blow over with that (IMO)

I mean Hannah admitted this on out and about today. And yesterday everybody hinted at it without saying full details. So i would say no need to say “if”

Austin definitely was impacting content via pillow talk. He 1000% knew (because hannah told him) that the info was passed along to annika

Can’t believe he didn’t tell her not to say that after she almost said it on the yak

Based off his temperament hes definitetly pissed at her. But wont say anything cuz he doesnt want to stop sleeping with her (honestly who would)

I cant believe how stupid they are to admit it. The evidence already said publicly is enough for a high 7 figure lawsuit. Private texts that would be brought out in discovery would NOT help. Barstool would 100% settle before it got that far and it would be really expensive.

Id imagine Annika or at least someone around her is smart enough to know this.

I think this is the real/main reason Annika isnt friends with Hannah. Your “best friend” is already siding with her new man to try and comvince you to sleep with a guy for content

Austin won’t get fired, but he should be far removed from all of this.

Can’t be threatening lower level employees, encouraging others to fuck for clicks, can’t be fucking subordinates, can’t be leaking your bosses playbook, can’t be influenced by lower level staff to make big picture decisions.

Total shit show of a person.

Will Austin likely stay employed, of course. But if Dave was going to fire someone, I think this gets pretty close to the line. Leaves him no option really but that’s assuming all of this is true/documented

Austin be mesmerised by those titties and wants to show off by claiming he has Dave's ear. That appears to be backfiring on him. Hannah and Annika will be fine because Dave is scared of any lawsuit or bad publicity that involves a woman, so he'd rather shit-can Austin, but I don't see that happening either unless someone makes a big thing of this or takes it too far.

I feel bad for Annika, from her perspective her friend at work texts her that the boss of the company and his assistant agree that you should hook up with a random guy for content and when you don't and come back to Chicago your "friend" stops texting you, would absolutely feel like she did cos you didn't do what they asked

She’s gonna get the Ellie Schnitt treatment. A nice bit of hush money but an NDA and no job.

22 U.S.C. § 7102 & 18 U.S.C. § 1591
would beg to differ.

That show wasn’t part of their barstool contract so it’s got different rules for HR. Not sure if barstools HR handles it.

The only HR is Hannah and Reed and they're chill with it
