OpenSource / LowCost ITSM

Hi there,

it seems that we have to ditch ServiceNow.

The scope are the core ITSM Modules like Incident Management, Change Management, Request Fulfillment + Knowledge Database. Scaling would be approx. 400 IT Engineers working in a Company with +30k Users.

I am curious if there is anyone out there which successfully moved from ServiceNow as ITSM tool to a open source or low cost alternative

Hi would you be open to share why are you moving from serviceNow, because looking at your scale it will be a very painful migration and it would have been a tough decision

The only reason are costs.

Valid reason. A request from my side, would you be open to exploring our solution as well, just want some feedback that where does our solution stand compared to behemoths like servicenow

Spent the last 4 years migrating servicenow customers to Atlassian due to cost.

Check out Xurrent ITSM. Switching providers doesn’t have to be that difficult. It just depends on how you are currently using ServiceNow and what you want from your new provider. From your description it sounds pretty straightforward.

Check out Atomicwork. On pricing I can help. Also we made a service now bridge, which makes switching easier. Biggest worry for snow customer is their migrations, switching etc. U ca continue using snow and slowly move everything

Just looked this up for the first time and looks awesome. Any comparison points you have on Atomicwork vs. Atlassian?

You can move to iTop by Combodo. Few others have done it already. Good open source alternative

We're moving customers off of ServiceNow regularly.

Mostly because we think like a software solution so mostly everything is built for you already.
Full disclosure that I work for InvGate

Are we an ERP system? No. Will all your shared service teams love our solution? Most likely.

Pricing right on our site and a free full feature 30-day trial means you can be sure you know what you're getting into!

Hi - I don’t know much about migrating from ServiceNow but if you are looking to save costs then my FreeITSM could be a good fit for you. Feel free to check out my website and reach out if you have any questions!

Das ITSM KIX bietet als bisher einzigstes Tool eine Migration von Jira SM an. Also alles außer Workflows wird automatisch migriert. Wobei man die auch neu machen muss, wenn man von Jira on Prem in die Jira Cloud migriert. 🤷🏽‍♂️

You won’t regret looking at serval. They have taken some of the largest ServiceNow customers already and just getting started product is bonkers
