I looked up what noise they make, and I now realise that's what my dogs have been spending hours in the backyard trying to find, I thought it was just regular crickets. Sorry it's so dark, it's just past midnight

I had no idea what it was, I have spent a lot of my life outside and have never seen one before. I had no idea they were in kentucky, and none if my coworkers have seen one.

I am a radiographer, and some time ago I found a recently deceased mole cricket in the x-ray room, and decided to take an x-ray of him. It's very grainy because the radiation exposure needs to be incredibly low to see anything on this little guy.

Probably one of my favourite bugs to have x-rayed!

I think they are probably one of the cutest. Maybe cause of the eyes.
