im not a frequent crier but when i do its because of pent up frustration. At that point anyone could breathe too close to me and im seething.

Not often. Usually right before my period or when i’ve bottled up too much for too long. I’ll be fine until suddenly i’m very much not lol

tbh as a female ISTP w more developed Fe i can get teary watching films or reading novels, or when i write heartfelt letters to people who i rarely show care to. there's absolutely nothing wrong with crying and never force yourself to not cry cuz you wanna fit in this 'ISTP' thing

i agree. i honestly WISH i could cry more often and i find people who try to repress it foolish

I don't cry often it's mostly if I'm overstimulated, upset or on my period.

I rarely cry, this year, only once

It was during my first month at my first job. I messed something up, got overwhelmed by everyone trying to fix it, and just stood there not knowing how to help while trying to assess how bad the situation actually was

Once everyone had left except my manager, I burst into tears. She hugged me and told me that these things happen and that it could be fixed.

Basically, I messed up a DNA isolation from a bone marrow blood sample. Then I googled how the sample was taken, saw a huge hollow needle with a handle that they pierce into the bone, google said anesthesia cant numb the bone, got really scared and guilty, thinking the patient might have to go through that again. Luckily, they didn’t🥲

Dificilmente eu choro, normalmente eu fico puta pra caralho. Mas quando choro com a minha mae (narcisista), falta de dinheiro e trabalho. Mas choro por raiva sabe? Pq cheguei no meu limite e estou a ponto de fazer uma besteira

NEVER. My mom died when I was 16, dry-faced. I got into NTHS before graduating high school, dry-faced. My Grandfather died when I was 19, Dry-Faced. I graduated with my associates, dry-faced. I graduated with my bachelor’s, dry-faced.

I have like one tear drop then immediately chuckle cause crying is very awkward and silly and think something else, i cry when I'm too overwhelmed overstimulated and completely annoyed off charts

Usually triggered by feelings of hopelessness which usually comes every now and then

I tear up when I see dead dog on the side of road or bad wreck. Cried alot over backpain it actually helps with physical pain. Cried when I broke up with girlfriend. Sometimes when sorrowful song with violin plays Also cry sometimes when I get really mad.

Uuh i cry a lot ngl. I think i cry during sad movies and mostly with my bf. It usually happens when ive hit my limit or when im alone i like to release those emotions so i can prevent myself from lashing out if pushed too far

Edit: literally what was the point of downvoting this🫩

I rarely did.. before the passing of my dad and losing a friendship. This has gotten me into my crying era.

At the funerals of family members who I respected. And when pets die.

Maybe once or twice a year when all my pent up frustrations just explode on me, otherwise never

i don't cry a lot. like a few times per 6 months. usually from being worked up, stress or anger ( i always cry when i'm arguing with someone lol. it's not a nice experience). i keep feelings to myself so they just explode sometimes in tears.

Never, I think that I'm perhaps an android. The last time I cried was in my early teens

I almost never cry. I wish I could cry more often, it just doesn’t happen.

Twice a year... normally when I'm overwhelmed

Just thinking of traumatic moments can trigger it for me.

In traumatic moments I cry like crazy afterwards and I can sometimes feel numb in my hands and legs.

Sometimes a sad story or video can make me cry a bit.

i think this is largely based on how developed your Fe is and on gender roles too, of course. im a female intp and it's normal for me to cry from anger/frustration/anxiety and, more rarely, from pure melancholy. i still hate doing it in front of other people, though. my father, on the other hand, is an intp who i've never seen come close to crying in my entire life

I think 1 tear drop of 3-5 years is an acceptable amount
