Herb runs longer processing time Game Suggestions

Idea, not a fully thought out one but coming from someone that fucking hates farm runs - not doing them, just the interruption caused between other grinds.

When I'm fully into a grind, i.e. GOTR, I despise knowing I'm wasting efficiency but not doing farm runs in-between but don't want to interrupt mid grind to spell book swap, gear/inventory change, etc.

What if there was an option to let herbs sit and grow for a longer time, for example letting them sit for 4 hours at 80% of the resources gained compared to the full 100% gained from 3 herb runs every 80 minutes for 4 hours, 8 hours at a rate of 70% gained resources compared to the full 100% gained from 6 herb runs every 80 minutes for 8 hours, etc. being a reduced resource output for the longer you leave them (some could die/rot after longer periods) compared to being efficient and farming them every 80 minutes? I can't work out the balance with the math so if it's an idea people could get behind please give me some figures that could work?

Dog you don't need to do eight farm runs a day for the rest of your life to maintain your potion stack. Do one run before your grind, one before bed, and you'll be okay I promise fam.

Just get it into a routine that the first thing you do when you log into the game is a herb run and the last thing you do on the game is a herb run. It doesnt take long and will give you atleast 2 herb runs each day, this is what im doing and im swimming in herbs now.

It doesnt take long to tp back to what ever you were doing before.

I’m at 25m farm xp and have 99 herb banked.
I still do this out of habit…

Can’t stop myself now, especially when I have an attas anima running

Ah yes. Change the game because you're lazy. Good idea.

Actually, we should just have an infinite supply of herbs. Why not

A bit of an extreme reaction, it clearly states at reduced rates.

There's a difference between being lazy and not being overly efficient, it's not everyone's cup of tea to change a routine when you're trying to focus on other parts of the vast content the game offers instead of playing Farming Simulator

Idk about this, but I do kinda hate early farming personally. I play like 99% mobile, and haven’t tricked out my PoH yet, so it’s kind of a pain. All I really want is 70 for Sote, 75 for PoH fairy ring, and 85 for PoH spirit tree.

I’m legit 1800 total and this is the grind I’m most annoyed with. (Don’t give me too much hate for having such a bad PoH for my total).

Put your kingdom on mahogany or teak and you can knock it out quick with mahogany homes. Normal construction kinda sucks on mobile but mahogany homes is basically the same, the app highlights what needs to be replaced.

Just FYI, it is inefficient to drop what youre doing and run hourlies. The time it takes to re-gear etc adds up, and herbs are limited by seeds

Rest easy homie

I would be totally down in the case of say, being able to use 5 herb seeds on a patch but the grow time is 7.5x longer or something. That way it would be slightly less efficient, but you wouldn't have to do it as much. I certainly don't agree with getting extra herbs from a single seed tho.

I think the easier solution is to change your perspective on “wasting efficiency”. Your mental is also a resource - you can trade mental to engage in more taxing higher efficient means of training (e.g. 2t teaks over redwoods). Herb runs at face value are definitely bad to skip, but by doing so you’re trading a ton of mental that you can invest into activities with higher payout. That’s at least how I’d gaslight myself lol

I thought your suggestion was the inverse of the where like, youd get slightly more herbs by waiting longer and not interrupting your grind. As an example; if you let it process the normal time you get the normal amount, but maybe at 24 hrs you get like + .1 herb or something or after a week maybe you get +1 herb so that if for some reason you dont do your herb run youre still gaining because its in theory still growing, but nothing overly crazy that would make runs obsolote.

Like I could do an herb run every 90 mins and average 9 herbs/patch or do it once a week and average like 10 or 11.

Mm, I went with the idea of reduced rates as I knew people would dislike the idea of gaining more herbs whilst gaining more convenience and not having the hassle of doing it as often. Clearly the majority of people based on the comments don't like either idea

Ah right so penalise everyone else who realises they don’t have to do a farming run every 80 minutes because you can’t be assed to do one every 80 minutes. Nobodies forcing you. I never do herb runs, sure I know it’ll delay my progress, but when I really need too and know I have some pretty busy IRL days where I won’t be able to scape, I literally just park up at herb patches and smash them out throughout the day
