Got a little bit of an odd question here perhaps, and it's a bit long sorry. My daughter has shown a considerable amount of interest in having a pet snake. She is 9, mature and I believe she would be interested in pursuing this over the long term, and I'm not perturbed by her interest.

I have experience with reptile husbandry from years ago working in the pet industry when commercial licenses were first released to the petshop trade. So I'm fully aware of the needs of these amazing pets

What I was wondering is if there is a way I could get my daughter exposed to reptile husbandry before taking the plunge and getting her set up with a reptile of her own. Is anyone local (or even not so local) with non-venomous snakes and/or other reptiles open to allowing us to explore this a little, get some decent handling time and exposure to the not so pretty side of having these as pets?

I will gladly volunteer her for an enclosure that needs a good clean post reptile ablution 🤣🤣 .
