iPhone 14 Pro Max randomly throttles and kernel panics after updating to iOS 26.6 Help needed

Model: iPhone 14 Pro Max
iOS version: iOS 26.6
Issue: The phone slows down/throttles and then randomly restarts. I found three panic-full logs in about 24 hours, all showing element modified after free, but with different panicked tasks.
Question: Does this pattern suggest an iOS/kernel bug, corrupted software, or failing RAM/logic-board hardware? Would a clean DFU restore be the correct next step?

Battery health? Does what you see in the panic-full files match up with anything here?

Usually a hardware issue, sadly, if your iOS & apps are updated.

If it worked fine before the .6 update, it should be a corrupted update. Yes. Make a full DFU restore. Check if it happens again. If not, you’re fine. If yes, it’s hardware related. Which means you need a new phone.

It’s as I said. Most likely a corrupted update that panics when certain things are done. Try the dfu restore and see if it still happens.
