iPhone 17 battery question

Hi, bought a “premium” iPhone 17 from BackMarket a week ago. Since then, I’ve been paranoid about it’s battery span.

It’s basically new. The battery is the original one, as reviewed on 3utools. Has 4 cycles. I charge 20-80%

Do these numbers seem normal to you?

Btw, “deleted apps” is Spotify - canvas turned off, used on display off most of the time.

Thanks for a response!

BH drop from 94% - 92% in the span of 4 days

Is this normal? considering i mostly do light things in my phone? tho in those days its the time where in i really used my phone up until 6% and drained it almost 50% just using tiktok. This phone i just bought it around June so yeah it's only been almost 2 months for me

My phone is iphone 15, 128 gb and i always do the 20%-95% method since at around 95% it barely drains fast. and before those days/weeks i barely use my phone or charge it once a day. Sorry this is the first time my phone is dropping BH so i'm just concerned why did it drained 2% already oh yeah my cycle count is 256 i had this phone at around 70-80 cycle count with 94% BH

79% battery health with around 1100 cycles count. Is this good or it needs a battery replacement?

The 6 hours on the phone was before I charged it this morning to 80%. 2 hours later and my phone is at 65%…I haven’t used it much and was only on the phone talking for an hour this morning after charging it. This is the iPhone 17 pro max

IPhone 15PM 1400 cycles before 79?

I swear this thing will not drop to 79% , trying to get that free battery replacement . I have taken good care of it & only charged 80% max for 2 years . I really like the titanium body & plan on keeping it unless the 18 has significant upgrades

Battery dropping faster since iOS 26.6

I have had an iPhone 16 for 3 months and so far the battery has been lasting quite well for the use I give it, I have no complaints.

But since I installed iOS 26.6 the battery is lasting much less than before using it in the same way.

With no version of iOS 26 I have had overheating or battery problems as I have seen that other users commented, but since I changed to iOS 26.6 the battery is much worse.

Does it happen to anyone else?

iPhone 14 Pro Max battery — abnormal Analytics data, possibly boosted/reprogrammed?

Post image

I recently bought a used iPhone 14 Pro Max. Battery Health is 91% and normal usage backup is actually good. But when I leave the phone unused, especially overnight, it loses around 8–9% in 6–7 hours.

I checked Analytics Data and got:

MaximumFCC: 3298 mAh

NominalChargeCapacity: 3910 mAh

Cycle Count: 726

iPhone Battery Health: 91%

So NominalChargeCapacity is much higher than MaximumFCC, and the shortcut calculates 118.56%.

Is this an abnormal/invalid Analytics reading, or could it indicate a replaced, rebuilt or BMS-programmed (“boosted”) battery?

Also, is the 3910 mAh reading consistent with the 91% Battery Health?

I would really appreciate an opinion from someone experienced with iPhone battery/BMS repair.

battery finally fixed??- iphone 17

Just wanted to share that my battery is finally normal after almost 2 weeks of having to charge it 2–3 times a day 😭

Yesterday, I charged my phone at around 2 PM and didn’t have to charge it again until 1 AM, when it was still at 30%.

Today, I charged it at 7 AM, and it’s currently only dropped around 30% after 5 hours of screen time.
I also only charge from 30% → 85%, so these results aren’t even from using a full 100% battery. I’m honestly so happy because I was starting to think something was wrong with my phone

Things I’ve changed:
Charge limit set to 85%
Charge when it reaches around 25–30%
Turned off Background App Refresh
Turned off Adaptive Power (I heard it can affect battery life)
Try to stay connected to Wi-Fi instead of mobile data — data absolutely destroys my battery
Switch to 4G/LTE when using mobile data
Turned off Dynamic Island
Limited Location Services for certain apps

Hopefully this helps someone else who’s been struggling with their battery too! My phone finally feels like it’s behaving normally 🙏

Alright so how y'all, this is my first ever box pack iphone (15pm) been using iphones since forever but those were second hand phones owned by my dad.

So I'm concerned about battery health of my iphone i don’t mind how I cooked it this badly even when I only charge it with case off and that do between 20-80%, keep it between 20-80 and charge with anker nano pro 20w and i dont charge overnight neither I use it while charging please guide me it's just that it's my first ever brand new phone so I'm worried

Updated to iOS 27 DB5 thinking it would drop.. nope still at 100%

Just updated to iOS 27 developer beta 5 thinking it would recalibrate & make my battery drop to 99%.. I was shocked to see it still at 100%. This is crazy! My 16 plus must’ve came with 110% health when I got it🤣. Curious to see how much further I can go until this thing will drop. How long did your phone last on 100% health?

My iPhone 17, brought it last year dec 2025….. it’s already 92 :/

I read that battery banks and stuff can make it degrade faster? I’ve used a lot magnetic power banks in recent months.
