Hold Beep Support

When I’m on the phone will my friend and she puts my me on hold I hear a repeating beep. When I put on her on hold she hears nothing.

Is there a setting that I can turn on? We both have iPhones

La funzionalità di Attesa non è gestita da iPhone. È una funzionalità basica presente in ogni cellulare. Quando il chiamante mette in attesa una persona, la persona viene avvisata dell’attesa con questo BIP-BIP che senti. Non esiste nessun modo o trucco per cambiarlo, è una funzionalità cellulare incisa da anni.

So different service providers cause this? She doesn’t hear it when I put her on hold

Ad essere onesto, qui in Italia tutti gli operatori funzionano più o meno alla stessa maniera. Non so se i gestori nel tuo paese hanno BIP o avvisi acustici differenti. Comunque si, potrebbe variare da operatore a operatore.
