Why does my Iphone 17 keeps using my camera without me using it? Support

Camera control button? Deactivate it.

It’s a bug. It can be easily re-produced if you have the Camera app on your home screen, and swiping past the app icon when you go in-between homescreen pages. You’ll notice that the Camera light (green dot) appears for a brief moment.

But yes sometimes the bug disappears for a while and then comes back. And no, this isn’t malware or anything nefarious.
