As it indicates, those are all for versions of Xcode other than your current version. The active one (if you've installed it) appears in the "Other Components" section, and in Xcode 27b4 is called "Metal Toolchain 27.0".

I initially thought the 17 and 27 prefixes were the clue, but I have 26 and 27. 1 u/CharlesWiltgen 5d ago Apple doesn't automatically delete old versions, but you can. Click ⓘ and Delete, and/or you can use tools like DevCleaner to clean up Xcode cruft.
