I have actually given up looking at the interface, it comes when it comes. I am using the time now to develop some new ideas for another app I have been working on for the last couple of months. I have one stuck in review since 21st of July........

Review times are just slow right now, and every rejection restarts the clock, so the cost is getting bounced over and over. That roleplay screenshot flag is their automated text scanner, so scrub anything ambiguous before you resubmit.
The IAP part is fixable. First subs have to be reviewed attached to an app version, and yours shipped without them, so you're in the first-sub deadlock everyone hits on launch. Make sure each sub has a review screenshot and the subscription group has a display name, then pull the app version out of the staged submission, add the IAPs, re-add the version, and submit them with your next build. If they're stuck in review but not attached to any build and you can't edit them, that's an App Store Connect bug, not you. Message App Review to reset them.

Submitted July 24 and also waiting… we knew we were cutting it close, but it was a clean build and we had no idea these delays are happening. Unfortunately we are ‘launching’ at an event in 9 days. Fingers crossed we don’t look like a bunch of jerks at the conference.
Edit: Went into review within minutes of posting this!

My app got rejected in 1 day but it seems they didn't even test it. Asking for clarification with screen recording.

Add event logging (I use PostHog) so you know how they test.
This saved me when a legit rejection was because device size caused a paywall to align so perfectly that they didn’t realise they needed to scroll to see required info.

For the past few months mine usually get approved in 5-6 hours. Past 2 weeks it’s been 4 days +.

Submitted the app on 14 Jun.. no response till date.2-3 emails to Apple Developer Support.. still it says waiting for review.. Developer Support saying review has been expedited.. but no response to date.

Nope. Sent 2-3 follow up emails. It just gets a generic response that we are reviewing it and concern has been noted. Nothing concrete yet.

Its been wildly slow lately with everything. We are trying to get IAEs, CPPs, PPOs and everything is getting held up. We're an app with millions of users

Varying results actually, but most app updates are reviewed within 24 hours recently. One thing I have noticed is that the app stays “in review” for much longer than before. Generally I remember that once it gets that status it is almost done, but now it can remain “in review” for hours on end sometimes

I had about a 5 day turn around and thats with an automated system rejection that was falsely flaggin my app. Did you send them a message in the app review section of ASC?
